I couldn't help but well up at the word. I'd had inclines that I was pregnant but now it was more or less confirmed, I couldn't handle it

I was happy, but I wasn't

Leaning against the sink, I held my face as I silently sobbed into my hands, my tears wetting my palms. I was so invested in crying that I didn't even hear him walk through the front door

"Reign? Baby where are you-" I heard him trail off

Looking to the bathroom door, there he stood, looking at me as I cried. He gave me a confused look before I handed him the stick

"Please don't be mad" I whimpered

He looked to the stick and then to me multiple times which made my stomach turn sickeningly

"You're pregnant?" He asked

I just nodded

"You're actually pregnant?!" He shouted

Hot, salty tears ran down my face, this wasn't going to be a happy ending

"I'm gonna be a dad, oh my god!" He shouted, smiling widely at me

"Wait, you're happy?" I asked quietly

"Of course I'm happy, Reign! Why wouldn't I be?" He replied

"I don't know, I just thought you'd be really disappointed" I sighed

Shaking his head, he walked towards me and brought me into a warm, gentle hug

"I can't believe I'm going to be a dad" he whispered, stroking my hair

Letting out a sobbing laugh, I nestled into him further

"There's a little you or me in there" he pulled away, rubbing my belly gently

I couldn't help but smile, sniffing and wiping away my tears

"My little family" he observed me, grinning
