Reign

I was awoken by a knock at the door, being a light sleeper, everything wakes me up. I groaned and checked the time on my phone

6:13

Why is someone at my door at this time in the morning?

Sighing, I gently tore myself out of Joey's grip, being careful not to wake him up. I dragged myself to the door and unlocked it to see Jay stood in the corridor. He looked at me before speaking up

"Is Joey in there?" He asked

I looked back to see him still tucked up in my bed

"Yeah, why?" I asked groggily

"Can I speak to him?"

"He's asleep" I stated

"Well wake him up?"

"No"

He huffed before walking away into his own dorm. I closed the door and walked back over to my bed to see Joey awake

"Who was that?" He mumbled

"Jay"

"Oh"

"He wanted to speak to you but I told him you were asleep. He told me to wake you up but I said no" I said climbing back into my warm bed

He let out a small chuckle as he wrapped the covers around me

"What time is it?" He asked

"6:15" I answered

He groaned quietly so Rosie wouldn't wake up

"Come on, let's sleep" he said wrapping his arms around me and bringing me close to him

He was gentle and warm, I don't know what'd gotten into him but I sure liked this new Joey very much

I fell back to sleep still encased in his arms, it was one of the best feelings I'd ever had

I was awoken by Joey moving around underneath me. He fidgeted under the covers that lay over the both of us

"Oh sorry, did I wake you?" He asked

"No" I lied

"Oh, good"

"Where are you going?" I asked him

"Jay wants to speak to me so I have to go back next door" he sighed

"Oh, okay" I replied

I shifted so that he could get out of my bed. He picked up his shirt from the floor and put it on, brushing a hand through his hair

"Thank you for letting me stay" he smiled

I smiled back before he walked out of my room, closing the door behind him. I shuffled back down in my now empty bed as I heard the door next door open

"What do you want?" Joey asked

These walls must be paper thin I swear

"Why are you so sucked up to Reign?"

"Why do you care?"

"Why are you so sucked up to her?" Jay repeated

"I'm trying to fix our friendship"

"So just spending the night in her bed away from your twin is fixing a friendship?!"

"Yeah?"

"You're fucking pissing me off"

"Well yeah so are you. You chose to believe a random girl over Reign who you've known for years. That girl started it all she's smug and she's using you Jay. Are you stupid?"

"Get out"

"Yeah I will, gladly. Oh and you know what, I'll go to Reign's as well"
