Reign
I laid in bed, knowing what would come next. 3 knocks on my room were heard and I sighed, standing up and walking over to it
I opened it to see him stood there
"Oh what a surprise" I stated letting him back in
"Sorry, I couldn't spend another minute with that" he said referring to Jay and speaking loud enough so that he could hear him
He huffed and sat on my bed as Rosie woke up
"Why is he here?" She groaned
"He fell out with Jay" I answered
She nodded and rubbed her eyes
"I'll leave to a friend's then and give you some privacy" she winked at me before walking into the bathroom
I rolled my eyes and she was back in my sight in minutes
"I'll be back later" she said grabbing her keys, phone and purse and walking out
The door closed and Joey turned to look at me
"I'm sorry-"
"It's fine, just leave it, you can stay as long as you want" I interrupted him
"Thanks, I'll just go back to my dorm give me a minute" he said walking out but leaving the door open
He came back a few minutes later with his bag jam packed with god knows what
"What's in there?" I asked
He released the zips and the bag burst open, almost spilling all of its contents. He pulled out the items at the top first
A notebook, pens and pencils and other stationery required for college. It covered my bed but he still wasn't done
He pulled out a crumpled pair of jeans, sweatpants, multiple shirts, a hoodie, underwear, deodorant and finally sprays
"Anyone would think you're living here" I scoffed at the amount of items he'd bring
"Well I am for the next couple of days until he decides to start acting his age" he said loudly, meaning Jay would definitely be able to hear him
I rolled my eyes before gathering his clothes which were clean but crumpled. I made space in my drawers and put all of his clothes away, making my bed significantly emptier
He shoved his stationery on my desk before falling harshly down on my bed, making it creek loudly
I sat on my desk chair and swivelled it to face him. He looked intently at his phone before looking up to me with a questioning look
"Do you have wifi?" He asked
"There's one in every dorm Joey. Why can you connect to your own?" I asked
"Exactly, one for each room. I'm not in my own dorm am I?" He retorted
I sighed and gave him the password to our wifi
"Thank you" he said averting his attention back to his phone
I sighed and pulled some homework out of my bag. I grabbed some pens from the drawer in my desk and began to work on it
Most of it was key words but some was learning about specific studies regarding psychology
"What's that?" He asked sitting up and looking over my work
"Psychology work" I replied still directing my concentration to what I was writing
"What do you have to do?"
"Find definitions and revise studies" I replied
He watched as I wrote down about a certain study I was working on
"Piaget's 3 mountains task" he read out loud
"What's that?"
"It was a study done to see how different aged children perceive other people's viewpoints" I answered still writing down information
"Oh right. Is psychology hard?"
"It's a lot harder when you've got someone peering over your shoulder asking questions every second" I replied
He scoffed and laid back down on my bed, returning his attention to his phone. I finally finished my homework after 3 hours and now I'm absolutely exhausted
I slumped back in my chair as Joey sat up again
"Do you have any food? I'm hungry" he asked
I rummaged around under my bed and tossed him a bag of crisps
"Why are they under your bed?" He chuckled as he began eating them
"So Rosie doesn't eat them all" I replied
"Oo I'm gonna tell her" he teased
"You dare" I squinted my eyes
He laughed at me before turning serious again
"Can we go out tonight?" He asked
"Where?" I questioned
"I don't know, maybe like clubbing. You have a fake ID don't you?"
