Joey

I walked back into mine and Jay's dorm room, forgetting what I left for in the first place. He gave me a confused look as I sat back on my bed across from him

"You'll never guess who lives next door" I said looking up to him from my phone

"Who?" He asked

"Reign"

His face dropped slightly

"How do you know?" He questioned

"When I walked outside to do whatever I needed to do, she was walking down the corridor with all of her and her roomie's laundry" I answered

"Oh" was all he said

"She'd dropped her thong by accident" I chuckled, my face heating up

"Okay Joey enough" he demanded

I was shocked at his tone but I stayed quiet and laid on my bed. Ever since he and Reign broke up, he'd been a completely different person

It was almost as if me and him had switched bodies. I decided to stray away from girls after seeing what I had caused between him and Reign while he turned into me, having a different girl every week

He didn't hurt them, he used them to distract himself from his past experiences, dropping them after a night together. I finally started to realise how much I annoyed him when I was younger

Them girls don't half make a racket in his bedroom. It makes me chuckle though because they all sound the same, basic

I was dreading sharing a room with him because there's no barriers between us. I'll be able to hear and see everything if I don't leave or hide in the bathroom

I realised my attitude at the time wasn't going to get me anywhere. My relationship with Jay was spiralling downhill as was my friendship with Toby

I'd hurt an innocent girl and broken many friendships on the way and when I thought about it, I felt disgusted with myself

My thoughts were interrupted when Jay sucked in a harsh breath as he stared intently at his phone. He screenshotted something before stumbling over to put his shoes on

"I'll be back soon" he said before leaving our dorm, probably for another girl

I laid on my bed alone, doing absolutely nothing. I mean, what can I do really at this time?

I decided to unpack my belongings when I heard a knock at the door. I was prepared to see Jay, he was pissing me off so I ignored it

3 knocks were heard again, this time louder. I sighed, walking to and opening the door to see Rosie

"Oh, Joey" She said extremely unimpressed

"Hi Rosie" I replied, standing at the door

"I was just wondering if you know where Reign was" she said, looking down holding her head

Her hair was in a messy low ponytail with curls at the bottom, she had sleep around her eyes and she looked drained of energy

"She went to the laundry room about 20 minutes ago with quite a lot of clothes" I answered

"Oh, right. Okay" she said

I could tell she was feeling unwell

"Are you okay?" I asked her, concerned

"I just feel really queasy, but thanks anyway" she said walking away and into her room next door

I closed the door and finished unpacking everything of mine before laying back down on my bed

Was it a coincidence that they lived next door to me? Did they have to live next door to me?

I huffed at my thoughts, contemplating whether to be excited or disappointed
