Jay

I was laid in my bedroom with Reign, her cuddled up next to me with her head laid on my chest. I'd asked her to be my girlfriend a few days ago and she thankfully said yes

I traced the piercings in her ears, one in each lobe. Her left helix, forward helix and right tragus also featured shining jewels that shone in the setting sun that leaked through my window

Her hair laid across my chest and down my arms as she played with my shirt, twisting the fabric between her fingers

I enjoyed spending silent minutes with her, they kept me sane. Especially considering Joey completely hated me now for dating her

"You're dating her?!" He shouted in my face angrily

"Yeah, I am" I retorted back, my face turning red

"I can't believe you!" He bellowed, I could see the anger behind his eyes

"You're gonna pay for this" He said before turning and storming off to his bedroom, slamming the door behind him

He never joined us for dinner and I rarely saw him around the house. He tried to avoid me at all costs, especially when I had Reign around

You could even say he despised me and I don't think he'd stop until he got Reign for himself, which is never going to happen

"Jay, Reign, Joey, dinner's ready" my mum shouted from downstairs

"Should we go?" I asked her gently

She nodded, sitting up and bringing me with her. We walked downstairs hand in hand and sat down at the dinner table next to each other

Joey's seat was empty as always leaving me, Reign, Kashius, my mum and Drew at the table

(Sophia isn't in this book because of Jay, sorry)

We began eating the pasta that my mom had presented to us

"How's school, Reign?" She asked

My girlfriend looked up to my mum while chewing her food

"It's really good thank you, I'm doing well in my classes so far" she smiled

"Oh that's amazing!" She gushed

"When you have kids with my Jay, I think we know where the brains will be coming from" she chuckled nudging Drew

"Mum!" I exclaimed chocking on my food, the thought of me and Reign having kids turning my cheeks red

"What?" She asks oblivious to how awkward she had just made the conversation

"Sex is normal" she said putting her cutlery down

"Okay, and this is where me and Reign leave" I said standing up and grabbing Reign's hand

"Thank you for dinner Jen, it was lovely" she managed to say before I dragged her up to my room

"Jay" she whined, dragging out the y

"Sex is normal" she mocked, I could feel her smirking

"Oh shut up" I said rolling my eyes

"Awe does it make my boy nervous" she teased as we walked into my room

I didn't answer her

"Oh"

"It does, doesn't it" she smirked

I kept quiet as I began to blush from her constant teasing. She has this effect on me that I've never had before. Cliche I know but she makes me feel special

I've always hid under Joey's shadow. He was known all across the city while I was only known in school and from our parties

She laid next to me, my head now on her chest. She ran her fingers through my hair, one of the best feelings. I could hear her heart beat through her skin which relaxed me immensely

She was the person I needed to bring me fully out of my shell and I felt completely comfortable around her

"What's up buttercup?" She asked

"Nothing, I'm just thinking" I replied, running my hand around her waist

"About what?" She asked playing with the hair at the nape of my neck

"How lucky I am to have you"
