I walked into class and sat in my seat next to Leilani. I pulled my notebook and pencil case out out of my bag and placed them on the table as the teacher walked in

Everyone quietened as the history teacher stepped into the class. He wrote down notes on the board for everyone to copy like he always does when my phone went off

"Whoever's phone that was, turn it off. I don't want to hear it" he said without turning away from the board

I looked down and read the message

I smiled at the message before turning my ringer off and shoving it back into my pocket

"Ooo get some. Who's Jay?" Leilani asked

"Oh, just a boy" I said before continuing to write the notes

"That's what everyone says" she replied

I rolled my eyes and finished writing the notes before replying to Jay

Thank you, will I see you later?

No, I have the car. You'll be stuck with Joey

I sat doodling on some spare paper I had, drawing different flowers and leaves in a pretty pattern

"Have you written everything Reign?" The teacher asked

I looked up and nodded as he walked towards me

"Fill this in then please" he said handing me some paper

I looked over the paper to see questions on WW2. I started to answer them, writing down what I thought was correct. I finished the small test in 15 minutes. Writing my name at the top, I pushed the test away and continued to doodle

The bell rang and I gave in my test before walking out with Leilani. I met with Rosie and walked to my next lesson, science. The teacher changes the seating plan every lesson and guess who's in my class

I walked in and stood at the back where everyone else was while the teacher read out names

"Reign here, Joey next to her"

I groaned and walked to the front row, slumping in the chair. Joey sat down next to me and I could feel his eyes on me

"Stop looking at me" I rolled my eyes

"Oh sorry, I apologise" he said sarcastically before looking away

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I brung it out to look, a text from Jay. Great

You good at maths?

Yeah why?

I have hw and I can't do it, help me later?

"Who's Jay?" Joey asked, I could tell he was slightly alarmed

"Oh, just some boy I met at the bus stop the other day" I answered

"What does he look like?" He asked

"Why do you care?" I retorted

"What does he look like?" He repeated

"Oh you know, my type. Blonde hair, blue eyes, tall" I lied

Joey was my type but I couldn't be his girlfriend, I don't even trust him as a friend. It would be pointless

"Oh, okay" he sighed

I could tell he was relieved but inside I was laughing to myself knowing that Joey has no idea about me knowing about Jay
