Reign

I had no where to go. I couldn't go back to Joey, he knew everything

And by everything, I mean everything

Rosie was disappointed in me. She saw how highly Joey valued me and I managed to throw it all away, like always

Jay came and told me he was sorry, told me that Joey was heartbroken over me, knowing I betrayed him like I did. I didn't know what to do about the pregnancy, whether to abort it or not

Even though the baby was Jay's, it still would've looked like Joey but then I'd have to live knowing that the baby wasn't Joey's when he probably thought it was

I always manage to tear things apart, whether it be a relationship or family. I was disgusted with myself but I couldn't do anything about it

I'd been told I could leave the hospital now. Considering I'd been recovering for 3 weeks, I was ready to finally leave. I had no one to bring me clean clothes so I put on some random ones that Joey had left when he used to visit

I grabbed my bag and thanked the staff for looking after me. I walked to the nearest bus stop, being careful to not tug on my sensitive scars

I pulled a few stray dollars and some change from my purse and got in the bus, sitting at the back, minding my own business

Checking my phone, I had no texts or calls at all. The time was 10 so the bus was kind of empty, everyone being at work or in school

It pulled up near college and I got off, thanking the driver and walking into campus. I made my way to my dorm and unlocked the door. Rosie wasn't there which made me sigh in relief

I was on the fence about what to do. I either suck it up and stay or leave, and make everyone's lives easier. If I was to leave though, where would I stay?

I have no other friends here. I could stay in a hotel but I don't have sufficient funds to stay there for a long time and I need to finish this psychology course

I sighed and began to pack my belongings in the suitcases I brought with me. Leaving them on my bed, I grabbed my keys and left to the main office

I practically ran there, urgent to sort my situation out. I made it to the desk where the receptionist sat stapling papers together

"Can I help you?" She asked

"Yeah, my name's Reign. I'd like to move dorms" I said

"I'm sorry, that isn't possible at this time" she smiled weakly

"Please, it's either that or I drop out" I begged

She sighed, skimming over something on her computer

"We have a single room in block E, is that okay?" She asked

I nodded frantically

"Name?" She asked

"Reign Wilson"

"Okay, pack you things and them bring your keys here. I'll give you your new ones when you come back"
