{A/N: This is sorta poetic, but not really? It's weird, enjoy some Yoongi time 😏}

I stared at the clock for the 200th time.

"Is it time yet?" I asked

"No, Yoongi. Be patient. I know you love him, but we can't just go without any type of plan." Kai said putting on his gold watch and looking over a list of his best guards.

It was painful, but I had to pretend I never loved Jimin to make a plan to save him.

"He could've killed Jimin by now. You know how much danger he's in." I said

"I very much do Yoongi. But, you knew this was how it was gonna be if you ever fell in love with anyone. It's not going to be easy. Especially in situations like this." Kai stated, pressing his earpiece and saying some names to be called out for a saving mission.

I sighed in defeat. He was right. By bringing Jimin into my life, his life was going a lot more dangerous. He was already a target because he was the senators only son, but also having money and power of his father on the line upon his return in one piece, he's even more of a target. And to top it all off, he's our mafia buildings most valuable target because of his position and he's engaged to me.

I was immature yes, made stupid decisions, yes. But maybe this was the most stupidest one yet.

Kai sighed "Yoongi, calm down. We will get him in one piece. At least. That's what I hope."

I looked at him and nodded.

A knock on the door made us both look at it, it opened revealing my brother.

"Hello baby brother. And Mr...?" He said

"Just call me Kai. I will be back when the cars are ready." He said, picking up his papers and walking out, speaking in this earpiece.

"So. Long time no see eh?" He said casually, as if nothing happened in the past.

"In my defense, I thought you were dead." I said blandly

"Well in my defense, I thought the same for you. Such a ruthless murderer. I killed in defense. You killed for fun. Tell me. Who sounds better?" He smirked

"Still as cocky as ever? I had a reason, you had a better life, I was born into the abuse. You cried because you didn't get a game, I cried because mom was bleeding out in her shame." I stated

His smirk turned into a frown as he cleared his throat "So. Who is this 'Jimin' of a person."

I looked at him and raised a brow "any of your business? No."

"Oh baby brother. It is. It's your marriage. Of course I'd be...involved." He said

"You touch him, and this time I'll make sure your dead. You don't have the skills to escape an execution like me." I deadpanned

He chuckles "You really love that kid. Out of all people, why him? Ever since high school too."

"How do you know that." I snapped

"Woah there, calm down. I've been watching. I couldn't let anything happen to my little brother, could I?" He said

I glared and looked away.

"Why hate me so much? I did nothing to you. I, in fact, saved you from being killed and suffering the same fate as our mother." He said

"Well maybe you shouldn't have saved me." I said blankly.
