As i opened the door to the three young trick or treaters I watched the smallest of them remove his mask. I expected to see the smile of a young child, but instead I saw the face of a ghost. I stared into the eyes of the child i had lost long ago. The one I had held in tears as he died. He opened his mouth with a wide smile.
"Hi, Momma."
