Gavroche was excited. His first field trip. Of course you had agreed to go with him. And he has asked the boys too. Just, there was a little misunderstanding.
The day was here and you took Gavroche to school. What you both didn't know was, that the Les Amis had already been in front of his school, waiting for him. Gavroche gasped.
"Oh my god, Y/N, the boys are here!", he said, running towards the Amis. You stopped in your tracks and you had to chuckle. Of course, none of the Amis would miss an opportunity to show Gavroche how much he means to them.
You could see the teacher coming out the school. You had to smirk now. You walked up to Gavroche and the Amis and waited for the teacher. "Where's it going Gav?", Bahorel asked. "I hope somewhere with a lot of wine.", Grantaire replied.
"Hopefully somewhere where the kids aren't forced to sit somewhere for ages. God, I hate teachers.", Enjolras added. "Please let it be a science museum.", Combeferre prayed. "God, you're boring 'ferre. I hope somewhere with a lot of chocolate.", Courfeyrac said. Gavroche added some yays.
"I hope to a library. So I can find some new poets.", Jehan added. "Boxing would be fun.", Bossuet suggested. "Good morning Gavroche— I am kinda confused now. Is one of them your father?", teacher asked.
The boys looked at each other and just shrugged. "Okay.", the teacher said, turning away from them. You knew that none of them was the father of Gavroche. It was Monsieur Thénardier but he was a horrible man and Gavroche ran away from him. He found shelter with you.
"Good morning Madame.", she greeted you, "Just a question: who's the father?" "None of them. But they care for Gavroche like fathers do. He has traits from each of them. His ability to write poems? That man over there. He's a poet. His ability to fight? That bald man over there.", you explained.
"And his hate for monarchy?", the teacher asked. "Oh, that's the curly blonde haired man.", I added.

"Okay kids, now get on the bus!", the teacher called. "WHO IS GOING WITH GAVROCHE NOW!", the boys said in union. "I am. Gavroche practically to go with him. He didn't want to break any of your big hearts. See you later.", you said, before getting in the bus with Gavroche.
