Death the Kid x Reader

"Kid! Come on we are already late as it is, hurry up!" You shouted at the sloth that is otherwise known as Death's son.

He was the type of student that made you want to commit murder because they are so slow which is kind of ironic seeing as who he is.

"Hold up (y/n), you are really missing out on this scenery, my father'a school is perfectly symmetrical and I can't help but to gaze- woah (y/n), let go of me!" Kid sounded really surprised when you grabbed his hand and started to bolt up the stairs. However you did grab his hand so he could have easily let go himself.

After his outburst he was pretty silent. He didn't hold back, instead he just ran with you.

When you were outside of Stein's class, you let go of his hand and went to say something but you got the look of his face. He wasn't mad, his face was red.

Which made you close you mouth and enter the classroom with him trailing behind you. Liz and Patty were already in the classroom as you and Kid met up today while being late.

They waved at you two and you guys went and sat by them.

"So you guys are finally going out huh? How did kid finally ask you?" You turned to them wide eyed and kid started to sputter some nonsense.

"We aren't going out, we met up as we were both late this morning," Liz rolled her eyes.

"As if, (y/n) you don't have to hide it, we all know that you like kid and that kid likes you," you turned to Kid before turning back after you realized what she said. They just told Kid you like him and that... He likes you.

"Wait you like me?" When we said that together both of your faces went red.

"Kid and (y/n), you both arrived late and now you are causing a distraction in class, detention after school," when you heard stein you groaned.

"Yes, and I have for awhile," Kid finally admitted, you stared at him.

He met you (eye colour) eyes with his own yellow eyes. His cheeks were a soft pink but otherwise you could tell he was trying his best to be confident.

"After our detention, would you like to go grab a bite with me?" You nodded shyly, a small skill forming on your face without your permission.

"Great, then it's a date."
