Levi x Reader

Just stating I already uploading this in another book, book two.

But decided to combine them so please enjoy :)

"So you are the new recruit?" Levi was trying to see if you had an strengths, and sizing you up.

You were out on a field that was near the stables. Levi had called you out here to test your abilities.

"Yes sir," you replied.

"Why did you want to become apart of the scout regiment?" You weren't prepared for the question. According to what you heard about him, he didn't ask questions like this.

"To protect humanity sir!" You replied and he slowly nodded.

"Even if it cost you your life?" He asked you.

"Of course sir!" You instantly replied. He nodded.

"Alright, spar against me," he said and you got into position.

"Very obedient, and you don't ask questions," he commented.

He nodded and you instantly took a step to your right as he quickly approached and shot a punch to your face. You stepped backwards quickly as he lunged to make contact with your sides.

"A soldier can't run, you must face the attacks with your own," he said before quickly throwing a kick to you knees. You instantly jumped and shot a kick to his face which he nearly dodged. Before you could land he kicked you cleanly on you thigh which threw you off balance.

You land roughly on the ground catching yourself with you hands and feet, scraping your hands badly. Expecting him to attack while you were down, you kicked your feet off the ground and lunged forward, dodging his oncoming kick.

He replied with a back hand to the side of your face as he twisted around. Catching you off guard you stumbled a bit.

You felt him kick you on the back of your knees and you fell forward. He was quickly to move and grabbed your hand and twisted it so you were Latin face first in the ground. Your hand twisted behind you back so you couldn't move.

"Almost a perfect soldier, you think too much in your fighting techniques, you try to guess what your opponent is going to do, sometimes you get lucky but you are not going to get very far just with luck," he said before letting go. You quickly got to your feet.

"You immediately begin to fail when you guess wrong, if I was a Titan, you'd be dead," I remained silent as he pointed out your flaws.

"As a discipline action, you are to clean out the stables before supper," he said before leaving you.

You blew out a sigh before heading to the stables, growing internally.

"What would have happen if I won?" You questioned before rolling your eyes. Probably to clean everything.

"Hey! newbie!" You heard someone shout and you turned around to see a guy with short brown hair.

"Hey, it's supper, come and eat," he said waving.

"I have to finish cleaning this before supper," you told him and he laughed a bit.

"Here, I'll help you, my name is Eren by the way," you nodded and took his hand.

"My name is (y/n)," you introduced yourself and he smiled.

"I like that, your name sounds interesting," he said before taking a shovel and heading to the next stable.

"Thanks," you said before going back I work.

When the two of you were done, you headed back to the dining hall laughing. You got to know Eren pretty well in the short amount of time.
