"(Y/n)!" When you heard Kid's (author's note: haha remember Jim? Anyone? Jim was a good guy), you immediately turned to his voice. He was at the bottom of the long steps, also late for the School dance Death was holding at the school. You smiled and waved at him.

"How's it going Kid?" You yelled to him.

"I'm doing good, I love the style of you dress, it is perfectly symmetrical, hard to find," you rolled your eyes, already knew he was going to comment on it.

"Thanks," you waited for him, took a while, but you waited.

"Now, to escort a lovely Lady to a lovely perfectly symmetrical ball, it better be," You laughed, but let Kid take your hand, leading you to the school, and to the room the ball was being held.

"(Y/n)! Where were you!" You heard Maka shout, Tsubaki following close behind.

"I was forgot when the ball was and I was watching t.v," you said with out shame. It happens.

"Where is Soul?" Maka asked you.

"He told me that he will be here," you told her. She nodded looking around. The power of friendship taking place.

You left to get food, but when you got to the table, you felt a pair of hands snaking around your waist, knowing the scent looked up to Soul.

"You look absolutely hot in your black tux, just saying," you told him, a smirk on your face.

"But you look stunning in your dress," he replied. You took a good look at him, he seemed unsettled about something. He kept looking back at where he group was, specifically Kid.

"Hey, what's wrong," you asked him. He looked at you, with a small smile.

"I uhh, oh I am sure it's nothing," he said, his hand scratching the back if his head.

"Soul, come on, don't be like this, tell me," you told him.

"Why was Kid leading you in here? He seemed very touchy with you," you let out a sigh. This was an adorable and fricken annoying side of Soul since it happened so often.

"Soul, admit it, you are jealous," he glared at you for a second before looking at the ground. You let out a laugh, and when you did that, Soul wrapped his arms around you tighter.

"Of course I am jealous, I only just got you, I don't want to lose you so quickly (y/n), you know how long I have been waiting for this moment?" You smiled looking up to him.

"How long?" You asked.

"The moment I met you, 4 years ago," you gasped while looking at him, not realizing.

"That long?," He nodded.

"And I would wait 4 more, you are worth it," you couldn't get the smile off of your face.

"Soul," you said turning around and wrapping your arms your boyfriend.

"I mean it, (y/n), every word, and I hope you know this means I love you."

"I love you too you jealous dork," when you said that, he pushed you back a bit, so that he was able to stare at your face. He then proceeded to kiss you, a smile still on his face. You blushed at the thought that a lot of people could be watching the two of you, but disregarded it when you wrapped your arms around his neck, deepening the kiss.

You were so happy, it didn't matter.

You knew you and Soul will be together until the rest of your days, a kuna ma tata.
