I very nearly got sectioned on Saturday.

As soon as it got dark Saturday afternoon I got my rope, walked to the bridge, tied it up and climbed over the edge. However instead of jumping I decided to give A&E one more chance. Though like last weekend I waited a few hours and then decided that there was no point in waiting and left. Waiting hours and hours to see someone just for them to do nothing didn't seem like a good idea, plus it was busy. After I left I went to the only shop open at that time of night and picked up the equipment I needed to retry a previous suicide attempt. When I finally got home I put my plan into action. It was then that a friend messaged me and when I didn't reply she called the police. When the police arrived I was close to death but they saved my life (unfortunately). I was so upset about them being there that I tried to fight back, it took two police officers to restrain me. At first I refused to go to A&E again but then I over heard one officer talking about sectioning me. I wasn't about to be sectioned so I went to A&E. If I get sectioned I will only be paid eight hours sick pay a week and there is no way I can pay bills with that. In A&E two officers had to stay with me and weren't allowed to leave me alone, including when I went to the toilet. I kept trying to leave but they told me if I left the hospital I'd be sectioned. I told them the crisis team wouldn't do anything but they made me wait eight hours to see them. Finally by 9am Sunday morning I saw the crisis team and suprise suprise they just referred me to another team. We'll see if that team contacts me before Saturday and if they don't I'm gonna make sure the police can't intervene again. If they do somehow find me before I'm dead then they'll have to section me, I'm not going to A&E again. My manager should be uping my contract to twenty hours so I will be able to get enough sick pay to pay for everything, if I do get sectioned.
