Part 32 - Kiss

***Arush's P.O.V***

"Bhai please please please please please pleaaasshhhhheeeee" Ahana begged for the umpteenth time today, making me regret my decision too for the umpteenth time today!

What decision you ask?! Letting her know that yesterday evening I was with a girl....thank goodness that I didn't tell her the name or identity of Sahana else my sister would have stalked her on all social media platforms by now and probably would have even met her in person by now..

My dear sister is as protective about me as I am about her - a disadvantage in this situation as you all can very well see!

"Okay tell me at least how you know her?" Ahana asked again, making me sigh helplessly - God I've never been in a more helpless state!!

"How long have you guys been goin' out now?" Ahana asked, acting oblivious to my silence.

My mind drifted off to my girl's thoughts as I continued with my exercise, ignoring my sister and her questions.

After a lot of debate with my inner conscience, I had gone to my company's online portal and gotten Sahana's phone number - yes I still didn't have her phone number okay??

I was a little annoyed by the fact that her profile picture - which was a picture of Sahana with her brother Reyansh - was already visible to me - so her profile picture was visible to anyone who has her number?! So any guy can fucking see her picture?! Damn she looked so cute in it!! I was so damn sure she didn't have my number, seeing how neither of us had ever had any need to contact one another!

But, my heart leapt to my throat seeing the word 'online'  from under Sahana's name change to 'typing...' before a message beeped into my phone from Sahana - 'Hi it's me...Sahana here...thanks for an amazing evening...I had a really great time'

I had literally kissed all over my phone's screen and jumped with joy - fuck she has my number!! FUCK SHE HAD AN AMAZING EVENING WITH ME!!! OH HOLY FUCK!!!

I'd replied with a 'Hey!! I should be the one who should be thanking you for an amazing time!! But I do apologize if I've made you uncomfortable in any way' once I'd calmed down.

I had hardly waited for a couple more seconds before she replied - 'oh no no I didn't feel uncomfortable. I'm glad we went on the date' with a smiling emoji.

We had chatted casually for a few more minutes until I'd fallen asleep without even realizing it - yes my brain is the biggest jerk in the world!!

When I'd woken up in the morning today, I saw that there were a few messages from Sahana, the last one saying 'I guess you've fallen asleep then. Good night'

I did reply a 'Sorry I didn't realize...please forgive me'  but she hadn't come online since, and well, I have been waiting for her reply too, with baited breath!

Who the fuck would be awake at 6 in the morning, on a Saturday?! - my subconscience chided me.

In all honesty, even though I'd sent her the message at 6 in the morning, it's almost 6:23am now..... she's still not woken up?!

She had changed her profile picture last night - probably after I'd fallen asleep and had stopped replying to her messages - it was a mirror selfie of herself from yesterday's attire. Damn she looked so cute in the picture that I had almost typed her a message asking her to change the picture because only I should see her cuteness, not anybody else, specially guys who have her number!! But then I realized that she may freak out, so I didn't reply anything except that she looked exceptionally cute in the picture. And I'm still waiting to see what she'd reply to it!!
