Part 85 - The shock of their lives

***Arush's P.O.V***

"But... isn't it too soon?" dad and Sahana's father asked together.

"Arre how's it soon? The brides and the grooms are ready na papa... uncle..." Sahana chirped brightly, making me look away and cover my mouth with my hand to stop my laughter at the look of horror on all the parents now.

"Hey Arush... can I talk to you?! Now?!" Reyansh whispered urgently, tapping on my shoulder.

"Uh yeah sure.. .bro" I shrugged, trying hard not to laugh at the look of horror descending upon Dhyan and Anjali's face at Sahana's words.

Reyansh and I moved a little away from the rest of them before he turned to look at me, his eyes narrowed to slits.

"Okay firstly... don't bro me... I am marrying your sister" Reyansh began, his expression softening as he mentioned my sister.

"And secondly, I thought you and my sister were in love... what the fuck is all this about Dhyan?! Don't tell me you've chickened out and don't want to marry her so she's settling with Dhyan? I swear I'll forget the fact that you're my Ahana's brother and break every fucking bone in your body" Reyansh hissed, cracking his knuckles menacingly.

"Dude I love Sahana more than anybody could possibly imagine... I'll die before I hurt her!! I'll fight tooth and nail if it comes to it but I'll never let go off of her... and about Dhyan... you tell me man!! You fucking knew about him and didn't bother telling me and Sahana about it?!" I growled back in anger, glaring at him.

"Hey woah!! I am going to be your brother in law!! And I love my Sonu more than you could possibly imagine!! I would never do this to her!! If I'd known about this asshole..." Reyansh trailed off angrily, indicating Dhyan, "...then I'd have told it to her... and you" he added, defiantly.

I pursed my lips, before breaking down into an unintentional smirk, as from downstairs, I heard the parents asking Sahana again and again if she's sure of her decision. I shot another glance to Dhyan and Anjali, who had held each other's hands, twining their fingers, looking adorable together.

"So what's with this dude?! And how could Sahana just tell a yes for him?" Reyansh asked, making me whip my gaze to him.

"Look at Dhyan.... and Anjali" I whispered to Reyansh, who shot his confused gaze to Dhyan, and then to Anjali, before his eyes traveled down to their intertwined fingers.

"Him... and her?!" Reyansh asked, sounding confused.

"And all our parents know about me and Sahana" I added, to which Reyansh looked at me, realization finally dawning upon him.

"Oh.... Oohhhhh!! Oh fuck!!" Reyansh hissed, before clapping his hand to his mouth, his eyes going wide.

"What?! What's happening down there... with bhabhi? And what's this about Dhyan?" Ahana asked, coming to stand next to me and Reyansh, looking from one to the other.

As Reyansh explained the situation to her, I went back to where Dhyan and Anjali were standing, huddled together, a look of complete horror on both their faces.

Trying hard not to laugh, I looked down, to find Sahana beaming and blushing as she waited for at least on of the parents' to speak, all of whom seemed to have gone dumb with shock.

"Congratulations bro... looks like you're getting married" I said to Dhyan, who whipped his horrified gaze to me, while Anjali too looked at me, dumbstruck. 

Hey now I didn't mention whom he's gonna marry!!

"I uh... I... you... and her?" Dhyan stuttered, his mouth hanging wide open.
