Part 20 - Tease part 1

***Sahana's P. O. V***

Humming in response whenever Bhai stopped for breath, I continued pondering over the events if the evening, specially the fact as to why I blushed and how I'd even held Arush sir's eye contact.

Was it just normal for him to hold my eye contact? And what was his blush about? I know why I blushed... No wait who am I even kidding?! I don't know why I blushed. But why the fuck did he blush?

And what about that feeling when he called my by my name?

"Sonu utarna hai ki tu mere bike pe hi apna ghar basalegi?" Bhai almost screamed in my ear, making me snap my head around - we'd reached home and Bhai had even parked the bike. But when did this happen?

"Kiske khayalo mein khoi hui hai?" Bhai asked in a mischievous voice as I hastily got off the already parked bike and removed the helmet from my head and thrust it into Bhai's arms.

"Work stuff" I mumbled hastily because my mind at that exact moment pictured a smiling Arush sir and blood rose to my cheeks.

"I did not know that work makes you blush" Bhai said in an innocent tone as we both made our way into the house.

At this, my cheeks betrayed me as more blood rose to my cheeks, which unfortunately bhai noticed, despite the falling darkness of dusk because he said "So I am right" whilst smirking.

I looked away as bhai rang the door bell and both of us stood in silence.

"Arush is so like me.... I never thought I'd ever see someone who's so like me, yet so different" bhai said in a conversationally calm tone breaking the silence, and I felt a bit odd.... why was blood rushing to my cheeks at the mention of Arush sir's name?!

"Well he's an asshole in the office" I mumbled, telling it more to myself in an attempt to not blush!

The main door opened at the same time, revealing mom who smiled at both of us and we entered the house.

I almost ran into my room to avoid anymore talks about Arush sir with bhai, but almost received the shock of my life when a loud feminine scream of glee broke my trance.

"You bitch you didn't tell me you were dating Arush" came Riya's gleeful voice as soon as I stepped into my room.

I almost screamed because never in a billion years had I imagined that Riya would be in my room, waiting for me, after having taken leave from office that very day and not even answering my calls or replying to my messages.

"What....the...bloody...hell?!" I said slowly, taking deep calming breaths and staring at a very gleeful-looking Riya whilst my heart continued to hammer against my rib cage, thanks to Riya's annabelle recreation!

"Arre beta I was just saying that Riya was waiting for you, but you ran into your room without even listening to me" came mom's voice as she herself entered the room and stood beside me.

I was still glaring at Riya when mom said "You both relax and chat and I'll prepare some snacks for you guys. Shall I get it here or will you join us downstairs?" and looked enquiringly at both of us.

"Arre aunty don't worry. You chill... I actually have a little important work so I'll be leaving soon... I just popped in to ask Sahana how the work was today at office, that's all" Riya said, smirking and winking at me.

"But still..." mom began but Riya cut her off "No aunty it's okay... I'll chat for a few minutes and leave...anyways Saturday I'm here for lunch" and grinned sheepishly.

"Better! You haven't stayed for lunch in a long time and even Sahana's papa was asking about you... I'll prepare your favorite kachoris on Saturday then shall I? And for now, at least have tea?" mom asked, smiling at Riya.
