***Arush's P. O. V***
"Mujhe Ahana ki bohot yaad a rahi hai... Shall I go and pick her up?" I asked mom, walking around the kitchen whilst she prepared breakfast.
{Translation - I'm missing Ahana a lot!! }
I'd woken up early in the morning and come back home, before anyone from Sahana's family could get to know that I'd spend the night there of course!
It was 8 in the morning and I was missing Sahana already.. I wanted to see her one more time... she was fast asleep and so deep in sleep that I couldn't wake her up when i'd left in the morning! I had called and spoken to her a few minutes ago yes, but I wanted to meet her once!
"It's still 8 in the morning beta!! Ahana has to do puja at her in-laws place, make a prashad and only then can we bring her home!!" mom sighed patiently, rolling out the parathas.
"But mom... you miss her of course!" I goaded.
"Not as much as you're missing Sahana right now!" mom winked, sending blood rushing to my cheeks as I smiled shyly at her.
"We'll do one thing... you go freshen up and get dressed.. have breakfast and then go... you can spend some time there before bringing Ahana home... is that ok?" mom winked, to which I grinned and hugged her, before making my way to my room, to freshen up and get ready to meet Sahana... I mean... pick up my sister for pag-phera!
An hour later, I was standing in front of Sahana's home, grinning broadly as I pressed the door bell. And as expected, it was Sahana who opened the door for me.
Her eyes lit up as they met mine, and she looked behind her before standing on tip-toes and brushing her lips to mine.
"Beta.. kaun hai?" Sahana's father's voice made her move far away from me, and me frown.
{Translation - Beta who's that?}
"papa woh.. Arush.." she blushed, biting her lip shyly.
"Arre beta.. come in.." her dad's voice trailed off in the background, and as Sahana moved aside, I entered the home, feeling excited and queasy - in 24 hours' time, Sahana would be my wife!
"Arush beta!! Come in.. come in... will you have some breakfast?" Sahana's mom beamed at me from the dining area, where she sat with Reyansh and a blushing Ahana, having breakfast.
"Sahana had made kachoris" she beamed, winking at me as I made my way to the dining table.
Sahana laid out a plate for me, and put two kachoris and a little poha, before she went in to get me a cup of tea.
We all talked about yesterday's wedding and the preparations yet to be made for tomorrow's wedding - our wedding... mine and Sahana's wedding that is!
Reyansh looked grumpy as he ate breakfast, glaring at me whenever his and my eyes clashed.
"Yeh pag-phera karna zaroori hai kya?" he grumbled all of a sudden, glaring at his mother, and then at me.
{Translation - Is it really necessary to do the pag-phera?}
"Beta it's a ritual... Ahana might miss her parents too right?" his mother said kindly.
"But I will miss her too right" he pouted, making me roll my eyes.
"You will also be getting Sahana for pag-phera the day after her wedding.." his mother's voice trailed off, making me choke on my breakfast.
"I won't send her for pag-phera!" I said defiantly, glaring first at Sahana, then at Reyansh, and finally at their mother.
