***Arush's P.O.V***
A soft musical giggle issued from Sahana, making me whip my gaze to her.
"Giggle all you want Sahana but I'll make sure you'll pay for this" I said softly, so that only she could hear, as mine and her parents chatted away happily about our wedding preparations.
Sahana shot her horrified gaze to me, making me smirk before moving closer to her, to which she gulped.
Keeping my eyes fixed on her, I slowly brushed my fingers against her's, and as expected, she jumped, her cheeks turning pink. Shooting me another horrified gaze, she turned to look away from me, and unable to smirk anymore than I already had, I followed her gaze, to find all our parents and basically everyone present there just looking at us intently.
But funnily enough, I didn't feel shy, or scared or anything... I felt happy that I was finally standing here in front of my family, with the woman of my dreams - who was soon going to join my family as my wife!
I couldn't help swell with pride as our parents beamed at us, though Reyansh, Ahana, Dhyan and Anjali were all clearing their throats in the background. It felt rather good to be teased about for something that made me so happy, and I grinned sheepishly at them all, though my cheeks tinged pink - but this was a good blush... it felt good to be teased as a love-sick puppy, rather than an asshole - like how I'm always thought of!
Clearing her throat, Sahana moved away from me, her cheeks now resembling a ripe tomato and inviting me to take a bite.
I glared at her to come back to me, but she put her head down, fidgeting with the edge of her duppatta, and throwing furtive glances to me.
What the heck?!
Pursing my lips, I moved so that yet again, my arm brushed her's and there was zero space between us.
"So now I think we better decide the dates for the wedding and roka quickly?" I heard dad's voice in the background.
"Yes get it done quickly... I can't wait anymore" I said, keeping my eyes glued to Sahana, who shot her horrified gaze to me.
As a round of giggles broke out, I blinked and looked around, to find everyone laughing, while Reyansh winked at me.
"Who said we're talking about your marriage?! I actually told about Ahana-Reyansh, and Dhyan-Anjali" dad said, making me shoot my horrified gaze to him.
"But.." I began, gaping from one parent to another - don't tell me I'll have to wait for my marriage now?!
"What beta?! The pandit ji has given us a couple of dates for the roka and the wedding... we thought Reyansh and Ahana could have their roka this Wednesday, and Anjali and Dhyan could have their's this Friday.... So that leaves us with two wedding dates... one in April and one in June" Sahana's dad said, looking at me in confusion.
"What?! Then me and Sahana?" I gasped - how much more are they gonna pull our legs?!
"But I thought you didn't want to get married?" mom asked, barely controlling her giggle.
"Oh come on mom!! Look I have found such a sweet daughter-in-law for you... at least iss k liye toh mujh p taras khao and stop pulling my leg??!" I whined, making everyone roar with laughter - and by everyone, I mean my dear to-be-wife Sahana too, who was blushing inspite of her giggles!!
How dare she laugh at me?!
"But who was the one who said they didn't want marriage?!" Sahana's mom asked, thoughtfully, smirking at me.
"Aunty please... c'mon not you too!" I whined, yet again making everyone chuckle - and yes even Sahana chuckled at that!
"Tu kya has rahi hai Sonu? Tera bhi toh yahi haal hai!" Reyansh winked at Sahana, who blushed, biting her lip and shooting me a shy glance. My heart skipped a beat and all I could think of was how badly I wanted to kiss her and hold her in my arms!
