Part 5 - The nerd meets the Arrogant - part 1

***Sahana's P.O.V***

"7:58...it took me exactly 10 minutes and 2 seconds to drop you...I told you right that you'll reach well before time??" Bhai said proudly, stopping his bike in front of my new office building and showing me his watch.

I didn't answer him, but just rolled my eyes at him.

"Apne boss k saath aaj baat kar k dekhlo..... kal se itni jaldi aake office door khol n ka kaam bhi tu hi karlegi bol dena... tera extra work dekh k khush hojayega banda" bhai said, chuckling at his own joke.

{Translation - talk to your boss and see...tell him that tomorrow on-wards you'll come early to office like this and open the office doors...he might get impressed by your extra work}

"Bhai! Aap ko toh pata hai na... I prefer to be early and punctual rather than make someone else wait for me?" I whined, removing my helmet and thrusting it onto bhai's hand.

"Okay you know there's a difference between being-punctual and arriving-one-hour-two-minutes-early to your work?" bhai asked, removing his own helmet and wriggling his eyebrows at me.

"You know how much I want to impress my boss?! Besides, weren't you the one who taught me to kiss-ass?" I asked, raising my own eyebrow and placing my hands on my hips.

"I told you to impress your boss by being punctual, and knowledge! Not come an hour early to your work.... And definitely not to study like you have an important exam today!" bhai said, smirking.

"Seriously?! This is all you can say before the most important day of my life?" I asked, glaring at bhai.

"The most important day of your life so far Sonu!! There are much more important days than just your first day at a new office!" bhai said, shaking his head in disapproval.

"The day you find your Romeo with whom you'll go to Paris for example?" bhai added and winked, making me flush to the exact shade of maroon as my salwar kameez.

I rolled my eyes and scoffed at him but didn't say anything.

"Ok ok...Have a nice day...tension matt le...tera boss agar bohot sataya na toh mujhe boldiyo... time-pass k liye mai ne body bana k rakhkha nahi hai!! Uss sale ko ek laafha doonga na, pura choomu hojayega" bhai said in a reassuring sort of way.

{Translation - Ok ok have a nice day. Don't get tensed. Just give me a word if your boss is irritating you too much. I did't build my body for time-pass you know? I'll give him one hard punch and he'll become Mr. Bean from Mike Tyson}

Even under the immense tension and pressure I was feeling to impress my boss on the first day, I couldn't help but giggle at my bhai's words - he's always my hero!

"Agar woh aap se bhi jyada strong nikla toh?" I asked, giggling.

{Translation - What if he's stronger than you?}

"Tu meri side hai ki uss k side hai choti? Tera bhai 15 saal se gym jaa raha hai!! Tera boss toh koi buddhdha hoga jisko mein yu khatam karlu" bhai said confidently, clicking his thumb and middle finger to show a flick.

{Translation - Whose side are you on? I've been going to the gym for the past 15 years now. Your boss would definitely be some old man whom I can finish with the flick of my fingers}

"Of course...mera bhai toh mahan hai....bohot strong hai! So strong that he has no problem telling his crush about his feelings" I said sarcastically and giggled, earning a smack on my head from bhai.

{Translation - Of course! My brother is very great...very strong...}

"Tu bohot strong hai Sonu?! Ek cockroach ko dekh k itna high pitch mein cheekh thi hai...baap re... Even bats can't listen to the high-frequency noise that you make?!" bhai said, shaking his head in disapproval and earning a smack on his head from me!
