Need more reads or I will be too depressed to go on after this :( It's kind of selfish, but that's what I go on.
Good news, though :D here is where love comes into the story!
Warning: mature content ;)

Chapter 17: How Are You Feeling?
"Well? Am I part werewolf or something?" I asked angrily. Jay and Blaze could at least say something. "Is the answer written on my tail?" They continued to staring at my tail. It was so odd referring the furry-like extension to my behind as my tail...when I shouldn't have one. I say furry-like because it wasn't fur that covered it, but another alien, ethereal material. My tail was pretty, though and really warm.
I wagged it in the air and my blackening dog started jumping to bite it. My tail didn't just have an effect on me, but it did something weird to Kiziah as well. Her fur would always begin to darken until it was completely black. As far as I knew, it was the only change I could physically see. She was never temperamental like me.
"You have a tail," he stated evenly.
"Because we haven't gone over that, Sherlock," I snorted, rolling my eyes."Keep up."
"Why is Kiziah black?" Wow, it took them this long to notice my dog had been changing colors? That's sad.
"Because I know everything that has happened, Jay." Sadness enveloped me as I pulled back my power. My tail disappeared as a result. Well, it didn't disappear, it just shrunk really, really fast. The vampires were getting too distracted by it. They seemed to snap out of the trance as it disappeared. Kiziah whined when she lost her toy, though. She was already back to her normal color.
I loved having my tail out because it meant I was at my full power. Restricting it made me feel like there was something more that I could achieve, but it was just out of my graph. Living among humans hadn't given me much of a choice, though. I didn't feel like being a science project under a big microscope.
"How did you get a tail?" Blaze asked stupidly. Huh, didn't I bring it out to ask THEM? I can tell they have their thinking caps on.
"Because I know exactly why I have a three foot tail," I spat. Oh, the only side effect I could think of that rode along with my bottled-up strength was that it made me really moody during and for a few minutes after while the anger lingered in me. I didn't understand it, but I accepted it. The power hadn't killed me yet.
Annoyed and disgusted with them, I walked out of the room with Kiziah in tow. I needed some liquor. I think one of these rooms had a bar stocked in it. I heard Jay calling my name and telling me to come back, but he didn't follow me for some reason I didn't care about.
I walked upstairs, passing a vampire I didn't bother to look at and ignored while he stared at me strangely. What, do I have something on my face? Kiziah's growl made him look away quickly.
I started searching rooms as I got to the first level. I recognized a few of rooms from the first time I was in his house. It wasn't long before I found a room with a bar in it. Yes! I couldn't see any problems getting drunk now that Jay already had me. What could possibly go wrong? Haha...
I scouted out the room to make sure it was empty. I didn't want any vampires ruining my drinking fest. I ran straight for the--thank God!--fully stocked bar. I slipped around the counter to the rack of drinks and was just about to grab a bottle of expensive looking whiskey when an angry voice startled me. "Are you drinking?" a disapproving voice asked from the doorway.
"No, of course not. I'm praying, asshole," I snarled. Walking back around the counter and sitting on one of the soft stools, I popped off the bottle's cap and pressed it too my mouth.

Trust a Vampire? You've gotta be kidding me.
VampirosI killed the only man I knew and loved. Well shit. Will I let the pain consume me or will I find light in my darkened days. Or will I die from too much exposure of Jay's cocky, arrogant, ignorant, unhelpful, snobby voice. I don't know, but probably...
