Let's get to 1000 reads! I won't write again until I do!
Haha, I probably will but it might be a while for the next part. I have no idea what will end up out of this part. Just letting the words flow I guess. :)
Btw don't take the kicking dog part to heart :( I love animals!

I Like Waffles
Leila POV
I glared at him with hate. He was one of them. "We have nothing to talk about, Jay." I drer my flimsy jacket tighter around my body and continued on my way. I needed to wash the blood off of it or get a new one. The stupid vampire infuriated me because I could never kill him despite how quick and strong I was. Jay was unlike any vampire I had met and killed in many more ways then one. If I had the chance to end his undead life, I would take it in a heartbeat. I had given up that hope long ago, though, and set my sights for other vermin.
"Well, let's make something to talk about," his constant cheerful voice sounded from behind me. Remember when I said I hated overly positive people. That rule still stood. I heard quiet footsteps as he followed me as usual. The vampire was an unwanted dog. No matter how many times you kicked him he was always there to show up at your doorstep as soon as you opened. I was never able to get rid of him for more than a few days and it was incredibly hard just to do that.
"Shut your mouth, Jay. I want some peace." I walked faster, not caring where I went as long as I got away from him. He easily kept pace with me. A few moments later he picked up his pace to walk beside me. Jay slung his arm around my shoulders as if we were a pitiful couple in love. A couple with an abusive relationship. In an instant Mortis flashed out where Jay was standing. Correction: Had been standing. As usual, I missed my mark.
Jay then appeared on the other side of me. "Want to try again? I'll move slower," he whispered cockily into my ear. I felt such loathing towards him and I wanted to scrub myself clean where he had touched me. I didn't try to attack him again. I wasn't going to hit him.
I peeled my lips back. "Fuck off, Jay," I growled at him. Then I just tried to ignore him as best I could while thinking of a plan to get rid of him.
"Only if you join me, baby," the vampire had the courage to say. I fought to control myself from going for his throat and wasting energy. Tremors of rage shook through me. I bit my lip until I felt I had calmed down alone, careful not to break skin with a vampire standing right next to me.
"Go bother someone else and suck the life out of them," I hissed. The wind picked up, but I didn't feel the cold. Was the wind colder or warmer than me? I could walk out here in booty shorts and a tank top and I wouldn't feel a thing. I couldn't do that of course since that would attract some unwanted attention. My breaths came out of puffs of air as I walked further. What is my body temperature?
"Leila," his voice sounded disapproving. Maybe I struck a nerve. Good. "You know I don't kill when I feed. And it's not like I can control it. You have to eat food like I have to drink blood."
"Yes you can. You can keel over and die. It would make everything so much simpler on my part, you know," I stated ruthlessly. I was getting weary from lack of sleep. When was the last time I had slept? Two or three days ago. I needed to settle down, but I couldn't while Jay was so close.
"Ouch, that hurt. Can't you be nice to me once in a while?" he pouted. How the hell can I get rid of him!
"When you give me a good damn reason why I should." My legs were getting harder to move, but I forced them to continue. There was no way I would be unprotected with a vampire nearby.

Trust a Vampire? You've gotta be kidding me.
VampirI killed the only man I knew and loved. Well shit. Will I let the pain consume me or will I find light in my darkened days. Or will I die from too much exposure of Jay's cocky, arrogant, ignorant, unhelpful, snobby voice. I don't know, but probably...
