  FINALLY!! LOVING THE UPDATE

Btw if I ever say something like Kiziah told Leila something I mean she sent it to her in pictures. I don't want to have to type that over and over.

Chapter 22:

Nuuuuuu. Nothing on this godforsaken Earth was going to make me go to a school infested with humans. It's just a no. What did I need to learn anyway? The only two things I needed to learn was fighting and killing. And I already mastered them. There was no freakin reason that I would need school. Even Jay didn't want me to go! So I put my foot down with an unmoving no for answer,

Which was why I was standing on a rugged sidewalk the next morning while glaring at the looming brick building before me. Big, red letters labeled it as Simmers High School. Students mingled with each other on the school's grounds, completely ignoring me. Yeah...

At least I wasn't alone. Kiziah was right beside me. I demanded to take her with me after Senet bullied me into going. Of course, we had a huge verbal fight that had been dancing on the edge of physical. Me, Senet, and Jay, but Senet the Bully won. Actually, bullied doesn't cover it. Neither does forced. He...he intruded on my right of will for my being and overcame it with threats against my physical and mental safety along with the health of others that I felt responsible for.

It's not like I was OMG so nervous on the first day! No, I was more like I hate this, I hate this, I hate this. I brought Kiziah along because I couldn't imagine a day without or near her for so long. The dog had seriously grown on me. But it was the same way Kiziah felt towards me. She didn't want to stay at home alone. So Senet made special circumstances for us or something like that so Kiziah could be with me throughout my classes.

Jay's massive form popped up beside me with the saddest and most longing look on his face. I could feel his sadness radiating off of him. I tried to cheer him up 'cause he was seriously depressing me too. "Don't look so sad, Jay. You'll have some guy time with Blaze now," I said half-heartedly. His expression didn't change so I failed. Hell, I wonder how far this bond stretched, 'cause if I was going to feel like this all day because of my stupid vampire, it would be tough as hell not to kill myself.

"I don't want time with him. I want time with you." Now wasn't that sweet? It brought an awkward smile to my face. I really didn't know how to handle all the sentimental shit that came from him.

I grabbed Jay's tight shirt and pulled him down to give him a quick peck on the lips. I pulled back so he wouldn't try to seduce me into having sex on the sidewalk. I felt him perk up--IN MOOD--for a second before settling back down. The bell signaling school rang dimly. "You gotta go now, big boy. I'll see you later." I hugged him quick before pushing him away so he could dematerialize.

Jay looked at me sadly and walked off. I watched him until I couldn't see him anymore. A beat of heartache overcame me. This time it was my own. He'd been gone less than a minute and I already missed him. I sighed, picked up the blue bookbag that had been lying at my feet, and walked towards the front door of the school to get my damn schedule. I tried to look as threatening as I could so nobody would talk to me.

Not the easiest to do when you look like a normal, harmless sixteen year old girl. That had been my first argument. I was twenty. Unless I was a complete retard, how could I still be going to school? That would draw lots of unnecessary attention. Well, Senet did learn a whole lot of shit over the years. Like making me look only seventeen to everyone's eyes except for mine, his, and Jay's. I had all my features and the same size,--since I was already so freakin short--but I just looked less mature.
