Great. When I was halfway done with this part, my laptop decides to shut off. And I totally fucked up this time with a form. So this might be told from a little more angry perspective than the first time I wrote it.

Chapter 14: Don't get mad, get gla--fucking insane with rage.
Jay POV
How did she do that? Did she know what she was? As far as I had known, she had just temporarily awakened, so how could she control it? That was impossible! Leila was something else entirely...
I was still pondering possibilities that could explain what just happened when Leila broke through my thoughts. "I also kill the two whores in your room." Leila scowled at him. "What the hell were they for anyway, Jay? Were you going to fucking play with them before you sucked them dry, leech!" A couple vampires in the audience me hissed at her, their eyes going black and a few various colors. I noticed one shift closer and bent a little, almost in fighting position.
Leila noticed it too and sneered that the vampires. God, her anger was infecting them and they wouldn't do anything to control themselves. "What are you looking at me for, vermin? You can see something much more ugly in the mirror. You have no pride, working for him. I could despise you just for that," she hissed over her angrily barking dog. Why was she so angry? If anyone had the right is was me after dealing with my tiresome council.
More approached her. There was no way Leila could handle all of them. At least I don't think she could, but I didn't know the limits of her abilities. To my surprise and alarm, I saw a little silver creep back into her eyes. It was a small amount, barely noticeable without a close look, but it was there all the same. Human eyes would never be able to spot it, not even some weak vampires. I wondered if any of my servants had noticed it, too. I would think so since some of them were older than me.
As soon as it had appeared, the vampires grew more belligerent. Before more dead bodies--and limbs--could dirty my hall, I distracted the servants with an order. "Clean up this mess!" I ordered. "I want this place spotless of grime next time I walk through it."
They went to work in a disorganized fashion, cleaning random messes. They would never get anything done in that way. Pointing to a random vampire in the throng, I said, "Vampire." They all looked up at my voice. Many of them scowled when they saw I wasn't pointing to them, their eyes changing as irritation invaded them. The vampire I actually happened to be pointing at glowed with satisfaction at my little attention. Her eyes glowed green. The green eyes and her blond hair totally clashed, though.
I wondered what her name was for less then half a second. Then, I realized I was unconcerned about her identity. Most of the servant I knew were the deceitful ones I ordered to spy on others for me. They thought of it as a prideful domineering position. I just needed some work done that I didn't want to do myself.
"Sir?" she respectfully bowed. She was rather young, but as long as she could get the job done, I wouldn't care. Maybe the other vampires would eat her. Leila snorted loudly behind me, causing the vampire to glare at her. I subtlety stepped into her line of sight, the need to protect Leila overwhelming.
Keeping a look for all the despite I held for he--especially for her animosity towards Leila--off my face, I answered, "You are the new head of the staff. You will take over Kane's old positions. I hope you know you duties?"
The vampires eyes widened with surprise. It was a moment or two before she could reply. "Y-yes, sir! I know what I must do. You will receive only the best of everything I can offer!" Her joyful voice held a hint of smugness in it that would have ruined the moment if I cared. She thought that I had taken notice of her, that I had begun to trust her, and that I could see her more than a servant. Pfft, as if girl. She really went down a step when I looked at the satisfaction in her eye. All vampires lusted for power, and I was just that. So they lusted for me, too. I've had a few gay vampires look at me...it was pretty awkward.

Trust a Vampire? You've gotta be kidding me.
VampireI killed the only man I knew and loved. Well shit. Will I let the pain consume me or will I find light in my darkened days. Or will I die from too much exposure of Jay's cocky, arrogant, ignorant, unhelpful, snobby voice. I don't know, but probably...
