Chapter 27: I'm going to a vampire school. I'm the only...whatever the fuck I am.
"Keep that scowl on your face any longer and it will stay that way," Jay joked quietly. Blaze was asleep with Jorgie snoozing on top of him in the seats next to us. No idea where Jordan and Kira were. We were on his private plane--rich, ass mofo--towards the stupid vampire boarding school somewhere in the north. Yeah, boarding school. Senet had just said vampire school. But no, I will actually have to live near hundreds of vampires. Do you have any idea how much that was stressing me out?
"You don't have to go to school," I sulked. It may have sounded petty, but I was the only one having to suffer out of the two of us. I felt bad because I was pulling Kira and Jorgie along, even though they were already vampires or at least part, so they would be among their own kind. At least we were all rooming together. Jordan was a shifter, so he couldn't come to the school. Luckily there was another shifter school about twenty miles away, so he could still see us.
Jay held me tighter in his lap. My vampire sighed. "I'm going with you, though. I'll be here."
"Yeah, but you don't have to learn," I pointed out, twisting around to look into his blue eyes.
"Yes, but I will see you even less. It will be just as bad for me as you. Try to be a good girl, though. It won't kill you to learn, and I don't exactly disagree with Senet. Plus you'll learn more about vampires."
"Get real, Jay. Do you think they will have a How to Kill Vampires 101 class? I wouldn't mind learning some new tactics." I looked out the window to the night sky. I think Senet just loved pissing me off.
"Do you want to kill me? Have I been a bad boyfriend? I promise you I've been faithful," Jay swore.
"How attached you are, I don't see how you can cheat." I kissed him on the lips, but he tried to turn it into something more. I pushed him back. "Not on the plane Jay!" I scolded. "The others are still here you know."
Jay's eyes reddened slightly as I felt a bit of anger. "With you at a boarding school, will I ever get any alone time with you?" he grumbled.
I squeezed him in a hug. "I promise you will. Blaze already told us that he has an estate within a couple miles of the school. We can stay there during the weekends." Jay and Blaze wouldn't even stay there during the week. They refused to keep that much distance between us, so they will room at the school for a while. However long it takes me to get out of this shit.
Whoever was flying the plane notified we would be landing in fifteen minutes through an intercom. Good. I didn't like flying much. Neither did my dogs. Camarin and Lexia were snoozing on the floor, though. Maybe Amynta was with Kira and Jordan.
Restless I turned my head so I was facing the two knocked out bodies. Alarmed, I saw Blaze's hand unconsciously start drifting towards Jorgie's butt. She was kind of comfortable with him, but not that much. It was the comfortable you would feel if you lived with a tiger at your back for a month, trusting it not to bite you.
I threw a well-aimed Converse to wake him up. Jay chuckled as it hit him on the head. He blinked slowly and stretched his arms carefully so as not to wake Jorgie. He gave me a wry glance with his eyes half-closed.
"Yo, Vampire King. When we landing?" Blaze grumbled still half-asleep. I stiffened. Vampire King?
Jay felt me stiffen and looked down at me. "What's wrong, Leila?" I felt his worry prick at me.
"Vampire King?" I said slowly, not looking at him.
"Oooh awkward talk I do not want to hear. Going back to sleep," Blaze said before turning his head away.

Trust a Vampire? You've gotta be kidding me.
VampiroI killed the only man I knew and loved. Well shit. Will I let the pain consume me or will I find light in my darkened days. Or will I die from too much exposure of Jay's cocky, arrogant, ignorant, unhelpful, snobby voice. I don't know, but probably...
