In a nation called Panem, 16 year old Alexandra Parker has just been chosen to be in The Fandom Games. The Fandom Games are a fight to the death between 11 tributes, 10 from the Fandom District and 1 from District 12 which is the only remaining district since the rebellion. The Fandom District consists of those who have won in past games while those in District 12 are those yet to be reaped and placed in a televised arena.
Alex soon meets The Fandoms and learns what the capital has been hiding all along and why they are there.
She may also be the key to putting things back in order between Panem and whatever lies beyond it.
