Deanna opened her eyes and slightly moved. She saw Jema sleeping beside her. She can't stop staring at her lovely face. She raised her hand and softly caress Jema's cheeks. She smiled then kissed her on the forehead. Deanna slowly get off the bed and went to the bathroom.
"Good morning!" Bati ni Jia pagkalabas ni Deanna sa bathroom.
"Good morning din ate Jia." Sagot ni Deanna.
"How are you feeling?" Jia asked.
"Better po. Sorry if I made you worry last night." Deanna said.
"Okay lang yun. I just want to make sure na okay ka." Jia said.
"Ate?" Tawag ni Deanna.
"You know our past right? Do you know everything ba?" Deanna asked.
"I just know enough, Deanns." Jia replied.
"I'm just thinking, I want Jema and I to move forward and not to focus on the past. My memory is catching up, but I'm not feeling the emotions anymore. I mean, if Maddie and Jema had a thing before, I guess it doesn't matter anymore because ate Maddie is already with ate Bea. Tell me, may iba pa bang possible na could go between Jema and I? Because I can feel how special Jema is to me, but I wanted to be sure with that feeling so I really want to take things slow for us. Yung tipong, we get to know each other muna uli until maybe... Be together sort of thing." Deanna explained.
Napangiti naman si Jia.
"I'm so happy Deanns! Kung alam mo lang. First is you just helped us get Jema back to the team. Second, with everything you said, you just made me realize na you are indeed back and that you really care for Jema. Don't worry, we will help you protect Jema at all cost. Just be happy because you deserve all of these!" Jia said then hugged Deanna.
"Thank you ate Jia. I feel like you are my best friend." Deanna said before letting go of Jia.
"I was Deanns and will always be. Oh siya gisingin mo na si Jema may morning practice pa tayo. Balik na ako sa room namin and papuntahin ko na din dito si Ponggay." Jia said before leaving the room.
Pagkaalis ni Jia ay lumapit si Deanna sa bed nya at umupo sa tabi ni Jema. She carefully fixed Jema's hair so she can see her whole face.
"You are so beautiful." Deanna whispered.
She then saw a smile forming on Jema's face. Deanna was so drawn to the smile that next thing she knew she already kissed Jema's cheeks.
She whispered, "Get up! Practice na tayo..."
Jema nodded and made her way to the bathroom. Deanna fixed her bed then prepared her things for the morning practice.
Bigla namang bumukas ang pinto at nakita ni Deanna si Ponggay.
"Good morning Pongs!" Bati ni Deanna.
"Good morning Deanns, kamusta ang pakiramdam mo?" Tanong ni Ponggay.
"I'm okay na Pongs, nasa loob lang si Jema." Sagot ni Deanna sabay turo sa bathroom.
"Glad you're okay. Mukang naalagaan ka naman ni Jema eh." panunukso ni Ponggay.
"Huy, tumigil ka! Walang ganun." Defense ni Deanna.
"Sus Deanns, ramdam ko naman na gusto mo si Jema eh. Curious ka lang sa past pero parang nakaget over ka na dun eh. Pustahan tayo, soon malalaman ko na lang kayo na pala ni Jema." Ponggay explained.
"Stop it Pongs! Nasa bathroom lang si Jema." Saway ni Deanna.
"Okay, okay, I'll stop na. Pero aminin mo muna na you kissed her?" Hirit ni Ponggay.
