"Oh ready ka nak?" Deanna's dad asked before they get inside their car.
"Yes dad! Got everything ready." Deanna said excitedly.
The father and daughter went inside and drove off to the airport.
As soon as they arrived, Deanna called Maddie.
***RING***
"Hello?" Maddie greeted.
"Ate Madz?" Deanna replied.
"Oh Deanns? Kamusta?" Maddie asked.
"I'm okay ate Madz, dad and I are already in the airport and we're on the way to Manila. We'll drop by La Salle muna and I want to meet up with you sana while dad attends his business meetings. Are you free?" Deanna said.
"Wait, sabihin ko kay Jema - " Maddie replied.
"Wait ate Mads, ikaw lang sana. Bonding natin, don't tell Jema." Deanna exclaimed.
"Ahhh, okay sige, saan kita puntahan?" Maddie replied.
"I'll text you the hotel name and address." Deanna responded.
"Okay, I'll see you Deanns! Have a safe flight with tito." Maddie said as she bid farewell.
After an hour, Deanna and her dad arrived at NAIA International Airport. Their ride was on time and brought them immediately to La Salle Taft Campus.
"Hi Brother, this is my daughter, Deanna." Dad's said as she introduced Deanna to a school official.
"I'm glad you are visiting today Mr. Wong. We are happy that Deanna is considering to be part of the La Sallian community." Replied by the Brother.
Nilibot ang mag-ama sa campus, lalo sa gym kung saan naglalaro at nagpapractice ang mga Lady Spikers.
Habang nag uusap ang Brother at dad ni Deanna ay may bola ng volleyball na napunta sa direction niya. Agad itong kinuha ni Deanna. May lumapit naman sa kanya na isang babae na nakangiti.
"Deanna Wong..." Bati nito.
Nakatitig lang si Deanna sa nagsalita.
"I know you like me, wag ka matameme dyan!" Pang-aasar nito.
Natawa lang si Deanna and replied, "Bata pa tayo nun Cobb!"
"Well, bakit parang hindi naman. So dito ka na, susundan mo na ako? And maybe kakalimutan mo na yung kababata mo." Cobb asked.
"Nope. I'll still choose Ateneo." Deanna answered.
"I know you'll change your mind soon. Pero kung hindi, I guess magkakalaban talaga tayo. Anyway Kuya is still there..." Cobb said and was about to turn.
"Kuya? May kuya ka?" Deanna wondered.
"Si kuya Cy, my half brother. Anyway, I hope magbago pa isip mo. Otherwise, you might not like what might happen next." Cobb replied.
"Are you threatening me?" Deanna asked.
"Nope. Kasi I'm sure our team is way better than your team. I tried to be part of the Lady Eagles for few weeks pero wala eh, kaya I transferred here. Si Kuya lang ayaw pa lumipat dahil sa kinakaadikan nya sa Ateneo. You guys are really hard headed!" Cobb said.
Deanna looked at Cobb, still wondering what she was referring to.
Naputol lang ito ng dumating and dad ni Deanna.
