Chapter 2 Thoughts and Being Polite

Connors POV

In the evening I drove off to Starbucks.

"Starbucks. May I take your order please?"

"Um...No thank you," I said

As I took my sunglasses off and saw the girl of my dreams. Sitting there.

"Hi! Betha---"

"Look. I'm sorry! Ok. I apologised. Please. Leave" she said

"I--" I tried but she stopped me.

"No!! Go away. Talk to you at school, Connor." She said.

I was heartbroken. I mean, what's with her. She was just sitting there and asked me to leave. Never mind. At least she said let's talk at school.

Then...

"Bethany, your shift is over,"

"Oh! Thanks Miranda" she said gracefully.

And she left the store. I was in my car and honked right at her butt.

"Oops" I whispered "she's gonna hate ya even more con!"

"What the-" she said and turned around.

She walked over to my car and signed to put the shutter down.

"What the hell Connor? I thought you were different."

"I am Beth! I wanted you to know that I was behind you,"

"Soft even!" She laughed

"Hop in," I said flashing a smile

"Thanks Con"

Con? Woah. That's fast.

"No problem!"

I dropped her at her house which was like 3 blocks from mine.

"Thanks again, sorry I was rude the other day. I was late." She said and winked at me.

"Oh. No. It's kay. I've had so many experiences like that."

She smiled and walked away.

Bethanys POV

Gotta text Ava!

OMG. Connor Franta just dropped me home

Hay gurl hayyyy! Whoop! I gtg see ya at school!"

Okay bae! I replied and closed my phone.

"I was happy that I finally had a guy friend. It meant a lot."

Plus, Connor was different. But, one thing.

I don't think he likes me. Maybe he just gave the ride to be polite. But why? I was so rude!!!

Oh Bethany! Go get dressed!

I planned my schedule for tomorrow since I had half school.

I had to babysit Marin!

"Beth! Come down for dinner!" My mom said
