Chp 15

MATT'S P.O.V

My parents left for work so I head down stairs and grab my phone. I text Maddie so she could come over.

Matt- hey babe my parents aren't home you could come over?

Matt- Maddie?

Matt- you there?

Huh this is weird she usually always answers my texts. I call her phone, but she doesn't answer. Where is she? I call her phone again. Again. And again. Text after text call after call voice mail after voice mail. Nothing. I go over to her house, her mom isn't home. I knock on the door. Still no answer. I pound on the door. No answer. Where the hell is she? I open the door, and head up to her room. "Maddie!" Maddie?" She's not here. Maybe she is with Emma? I call Emma. "Hello?" She answers. "Hey is Maddie with you?" I ask her. "No I thought she was with you?" No she's not with me." I have been looking for her forever I don't know where she is." I tell her. "Alright matt come down we will find out where she is, I will call you if I see her ok?" She tells me. "Ok I will, thanks Emma, I tell her. "Ok bye." Bye. Wait what if she is with that guys Robby? What ever. But if she is I will flip. I don't want her around him. But the main thing is, I need to find her.

MADDIE'S P.O.V

I still feel so light headed. We enter a house and Robert puts me on a couch. "Hey you all right?" He asks. "Yea I just have a headache, do you think I could have some water?" Ask. "Of course." He says and leaves. I get my phone and turn it on. Once it's on my phone goes off with a bunch of texts calls, messages, and voice mails most of them are from matt. Oops. I will tell him everything tomorrow, I have such a headache. A few seconds later, Robert comes in and hands me a glass of water. "Thank you, I say and tip the glass to my mouth. Once Im finished, I put the glass down. "Do you mind if I stay the night?" I ask. "Yea sure." He says. "Are you sure that'a ok? Cause is you want me to go I ca-" Maddie it's fine, he said covering my mouth. I smile and thank him again. He hands me one of his shirts and a pair of shorts for me to change in. "Thank you." I say. "No problem." He assures me. "Ok are you comfortable?" Do you want to sleep in my bed and ill sleep our here?" "Yes I am very comfortable and no ill sleep out here I'm fine thank you though. I smile. "Alright night, Maddie." He says to me. "Night.

I go in the bathroom and change in to the shirt and pants and head to the couch. I fall asleep.

"Daddy?" I ask. "Yes princess?" "Your going to be here for my wedding right?" My father starts to laugh. "Of course I will, always remember no matter what, I will always be there for you. Don't ever forget that. He says and kisses my forehead. "I love you sweet heart." I love you too daddy."

My father slammed on the on the brakes, but the ice made us slide and hit a curb. The truck in front of us, crashes in to us. My fathers head goes through the wind shield, and my mother hits her head on the dash board instantly knocking her out. I smacked my head on the window, a few minutes later, ambulances are here and the police. I'm still alive, but I'm pretty sure my arm is broken. I see my father rapped up in a black body bag, and is rushed into the ambulance.

"DADDY!" DADDY NO"

"Dad!" No!" I shout. Robert comes racing out of his room with a bat In his hand. "Maddie are you ok!" He asks. I'm crying and I can't find a way to stop. "Maddie what's wrong?" He asks taking me in for a hug. I cry into his shoulder. "C-can I sleep with you I'm your bed?" I ask nervously. "Yea come on." He says picking me up. He lays me on to his bed, and gets in pulling the covers over us. "Thank you." I whisper to him. "No problem. He says.

I turn around so my back is to him. A few minutes later I feel hands on my waist, I don't push them off cause I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean anything.

The next morning I woke up, feeling so much better, but my face still hurts from Chris slapping me in the face though. I get up from the bed, and Robert is in the kitchen with 2 cups of coffee. "Thank you." I say and take a sip. "Your welcome." Do you think you could drop me to your friends house? My car is still there." Yea sure. "Ok well I'm going to get dressed. I head to the bathroom and get into my dress, grab my phone and put on my shoes. "Ready?" He asks. "Ready." We go out side and get into his car. A few minutes later we arrive at the house. "Thank you so so much for everything I appreciate everything you did for me." You are literally a life saver." I say. "Of course anything for you Maddie, remember I'm here for you." He says. I hug him, and head to my car. I get in a wave good bye to Robert And head to my house. 10 minutes later I arrive at my house and Matthew is sitting on my porch waiting for me. I get out of the car. "MADDIE!" He shouts and runs to me. "What the hell have you been you scared me, what happened to your face?! Why are you dressed so nice?" What happened?!" He yells. "This is going to take a while, come on. I say and take him inside. "Ok so Ashley came to my house-" "what?!" What did she say? Why was she here?" He asks. " let me explain." I say. "Sorry." He says. "Alright so she came to my house, and she was saying how she was sorry for everything she did." Matt was still confused. "And so she asked if I wanted to go to this party, and I wasn't going to go but I did, but I really wish I didn't." But anyway so I went to the party, we were playing truth or dare. Matt's jaw tightens. "Nothing that bad happened but they told me to take 2 shots, so I did. And then I took, more..and more until I was drunk." Robert was there so-"

"Wait Robert was there!" Why?" Did he bring you or something?" "No it was his friends house so he was there."

"Did he take advantage of you while you were drunk!?"Did he touch you?" Ok I'm going to go beat his ass-"

"No matt that didn't happen." I say trying to relax him. "Well at least it wasn't him that did that." I say looking down. "What are you talking about Maddie?" He asks. "While I was drunk, I was looking for Robert so he could take me home, but this guy tricked me and I ended up in a room." I stop because I begin to think about that night. I never want to experience that ever again. "Maddie, please tell me." He says in a soft voice. "Th-they took my clothes off." I sob. "Who did?"

"Chris." I say. "And Ashley had a camera." I cry. "Did- did they do anything serious?" He asks in a panicked voice. "No they didn't get to do much they just put duck tape over

My mouth and took my clothes off and started touching my thighs." Well Chris was. "But before it got worse, Robert came in-." It's always fucking Robert right?" "What?" I ask. "It's always Robert who is saving you!" It should be me!" "But no it's always gotta be fucking Robert!" He shouts. "I'm sorry Maddie, I just can't take it with all the things that are happening to you, it makes me feel so bad because its never me who is saving you, and to even think of anyone touching you like that, makes me sick,

Well except me. " he winks. And I laugh. "See there's the smile that I wanted to see today." He says poking my dimple. I blush. "Maddie?" He asks. "Yea?" Guess what?" What?"

"I love you." He says. I hesitate for a second and then say "I love you too." I say and kiss his cheek. Wow I never

thought that I would ever fall for anyone that was once my bully.
