She's Back

thirty-one: SURPRISE!

After Damian blew out the candles, we ordered a whole ton of food and invited the girls over. We ate as much as we could, and drank as much as we can. There was a moment when Gabriel and Alexis disappeared but I was too drunk to spy on them. Rosalie was the first to pass out while Gabriel, Damian and I were the last.

My memory from the night was a blur.

But that night doesn't matter anyways because today is my day.

February 2nd
My birthday :)

I am laying in my bed just waiting for-

"She's awake guys!"

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to our baby-"

"My sister." My brother sings.

"Happy birthday to you!"

Every year, for everyone's birthday, we always buy a cake and wake up the birthday boy/girl. My parents started this maybe when I was six and every since then, it's been a tradition. We also have another tradition; a gift tradition. After making a wish, I blow out the candles.

"My little sugar plum, I got a surprise for you," my father is smiling like a five year old, holding something behind his back. "Surprise!"

I already knew it was a lego toy, but I obviously didn't know which one.

"It's a Lego Rollercoaster! I was going to get you the Harry Potter castle but I know you're not a fan of that."

"Thanks dad, I love it, thank you," I smile and kiss him on his cheek. Now Damian and I have a project to do together.

"You already know when you'll get your real gift," my mother winks.

Now this is where the gift tradition comes in. Since I'm turning 18 years old, I'll receive my real gift at 8:00 pm tonight. I don't know which one of them created this gift thing but it involves the last digit of your age and only happens between the times of 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, since no one wants to wake up early in the house.

"I can't wait to see it!"

"Me too- ouch! I didn't say what it is!" Kayden complains after my mother smacks his arm.

After they leave to go get dressed for breakfast, I decide to check my phone. I have it on 'do not disturb' so that no one would wake me up. Of course it was full of birthday messages but, I didn't see any from Damian.

Oh wait, he just texted.

Bella did you see that video of Axel on Instagram *laughing emoji* - D

No what's it about?- E

His drunk ass running all over the neighbourhood and getting chased by a dog *laughing emoji* -D
