fifty-five: let's go save Elle

I look at my phone to see I received a text from Axel saying they've made it in. I guess he didn't want to use the walkie talkie because they weren't sure if anyone was around.

Mateo and I keep our guns pointed straight as we continued to walk down the halls of the building.

"I think something's wrong," we hear someone say. We both hide in a hallway as we continue to listen.

"What are you talking about?" Another person says.

"Jaxon and Lincoln aren't answering me, they were outside of entrance four," the other guy explained.

I turn to Mateo, "shit they're coming."

        "I'm going in," he says, walking out into the hall shooting the first guy, as I follow him and shoot the guy. We walk over, kicking their guns away from the hands and checking to see if they're dead.

         "Okay we don't have much time before the other two guards, tell Davina something's wrong," Mateo says.

        "Axel and Gabriel could've already killed them," I shrug. He shrugs as well and continues to walk down the hall.

Mateo stops, and leans closer to a wall, before checking to see if anyone if down the hall. He looks quickly and pulls back, turning towards me, "one of the four people here is Crystal and Ava."

I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion, "what the hell? Why would they be here?"

Mateo glances back down the hall before turning back for me, "Davina and Ava used to be close, maybe she got Ava to help her out. And well... whatever Ava does Crystal follows. Anyways, they're walking towards us," he explains.

I nod my head and get myself ready to grab one of them. As we hear the clicks of heels making its way closer to us, we stand back before we both grab one of the girls.

We keep our arms around they're necks and a gun pointed to their heads. "Don't scream or else I won't hesitate to pull the trigger," I whisper to Ava. She nods her head, I move my hand away from her mouth.

           "Where is she Ava?" I ask. Mateo and Crystal are watching us.

            "Don't hurt me Damian," Ava pleads.

            "I asked you a question, where is she?" I ask once more.

            "She down the hall on the right, but I don't know where Davina went," Ava spills before I let go, pushing her down to the ground. I keep my gun pointed to her, as she begins to cry. "I'm sorry Damian, I didn't know what Davina wanted me to do, I'm-"

             "But you knew Elle was held captive here and you didn't do anything!" I yell. Mateo clears his throat and I clear mine as well, before I begin to whisper again, "you're lucky I'm not going to put a bullet into that skull of yours, just like what I did to one of the guys outside."

We hear footsteps and Mateo pulls crystal against the wall with him while I point my gun upwards, waiting for the person to approach us.

Ava continues to lay on the ground, "say one word and you're dead," I threaten. She nods her head and looks away.

The footsteps get closer, as I place my finger on the trigger, waiting to pull it. I begin to count down in my head, 1... 2... 3...

         "Don't shoot!" Axel yells jumping back once he sees me with the gun. I roll my eyes and put my gun into he waste of the jeans.

Gabriel and Axel see Ava on the floor and Mateo holding crystal from moving.

          "These two are one of the four people?" Gabriel asks. I nod my head.
