❤︎ Lachlan Vs A baby ❤︎

"So...it just breathes, eats, poops and cries?....sounds a lot like Mark." 

Chaehyun stared down at the small, restless figure in his arms with wide eyes. He was stiff as he cradled the child in the correct position, the anxiety of dropping the real-life baby caused him to tense up as the new mother before him, giggled. She was no older than eighteen and had brought her daughter to the fansign with her. She had received a few looks of disbelief at the lack of thought going into her plan to meet the boys. Of course, they understood she just wanted to meet them like the rest of people in the room but she was putting her child at risk with the number of people. 

The girl known as Jieun shed a few tears at the sight in front of her.  Her boyfriend had left right after he found out that she was pregnant, leaving her to do all the work with the help of her family. Jieun had never gotten the chance to see her daughter being held by her ex-boyfriend and for some reason, seeing her bias holding her pure joy close to him made her emotional. She hid her face and sobbed quietly earning a few 'awws' from the other boys and the crowd. Nervously, Chaehyun kept the baby close to him and reached out for the girl's hand. 

"I'm sorry," she sniffed and wiped away her tears before laughing slightly. "Her father left so I never got the chance to see her being held by him and I guess just seeing her with you made me emotional. You look like her Father." 

Chaehyun's cheeks flushed as he shyly grinned down at the baby who looked up at him with the cutest eyes he had ever seen. Full of innocence and purity, it was a sight that very almost brought him to tears. Her little cheeks were chubby and Chaehyun's eyes lit up at the sight of a smile on the baby girl's face as she wrapped her tiny fingers around his much larger one. Chaehyun gazed up at the people around him to find all eyes on him. 

"You actually look like her Father, it's scary," Yuta pointed out. 

"Is there something you haven't been telling us?" Johnny asked jokingly, leaning over to gently stroke the six-month-old's cheek. The baby smiled in bliss at the sensation of her cheek being rubbed and Chaehyun lifted his gaze to meet the mother. 

"You are doing a really good job with her, she's beautiful and I believe she has your gorgeous eyes. Your ex doesn't deserve to be in her life and let me tell you, I have so much respect for you and what you do. You are young and it's clear she's your priority. Well done, honestly. For those who put you down for getting pregnant at a young age couldn't be further from the truth. I 100% believe that you are an amazing mother and though pregnancy young is hard as it is for any parent, but especially when you're a teenager, you take it seriously and that's all anyone could ever want from you. Don't ever feel ashamed of it, she's beautiful and so are you." 

By this point, the girl was sobbing. His words meant more to her than he knew and she was incredibly grateful for the boost of confidence which he had given her. Reluctantly, Chaehyun handed her back her child but what he didn't expect was for the baby to start crying. Jieun laughed at his expression as she rocked the mini version of herself in her arms. Chaehyun called for one of the staff as the girl moved down the line. 

"Take her and the baby to a safe spot where they cant get harmed, i don't care whether it's backstage or not. Just please, they can't get harmed." The woman nodded with a soft smile. On the way to the other staff members, she shot him a smirk causing Chaehyun to roll his eyes. 

"You want a kid now don't you?" Johnny smirked. 

Chaehyun glanced at the parent and her child once again before biting his lip. "I think I do, not yet, Jisung can be my baby up until I'm ready." 

He didn't know when he would have a child and he didn't even know if he would be able to but he did know that he would give his child the world as well as the mother and if it was at a time where he least expected it, it wouldn't change his mind.

Honestly...I really enjoyed writing this chapter. My heart swelled too many times and that doesn't happen often with my writing haha.

ALSO, CAN I JUST SAY THAT I KNOW THIS IS AN NCT BOOK BUT MONSTA X'S ALLIGATOR! BEING MONSTA X STAN I CAN SAFELY SAY I CRIED. Okay, sorry about that just needed to get it out in the open.
