◎ The Interview ◎

Chaehyun entered the room, finding Mark sitting in a chair waiting patiently for him with the camera already rolling. Pulling down his hoodie, he glanced at the camera with an awkward smile before sliding into the seat directly across from Mark, who held the cards in his hands. The two stared at each other blanked face in silence for 4 minutes. Mark shifted uncomfortably, glancing from the camera back to Chaehyun looking reasonably awkward. Another minute went by and Chaehyun cleared his throat.

"Should we start?"

"Yep."

Chaehyun unzipped his hoodie revealing his plain white shirt and Mark made a hum in amusement smirking to himself and Chaehyun's head shot up, he tilted his face down and grinned. Mark laughed, the two had been in the room for over ten minutes and not one question had been exchanged. The staff knew out of everyone in NCT, it was going to be the hardest with Chaehyun.

"What are we doing again?" Asked the older boy, glancing around the room in confusion causing a few staff members behind the camera to facepalm. Helplessly, Chaehyun laughed. "What? I genuinely got sidetracked, this is why you can't put me and Mark in a room together sitting so close, I can't concentrate."

"Marklan is the new supreme ship. Luchlan who? Markhyuck where? I only wanna hear Marklan!" Upon hearing this, Chaehyun let out a gasp of 'yeaaah' and lifted up his palm which soon met Mark's. The pair then entwined their fingers and grinned at each other, knowing full well how much fun the editor would have with this, along with the fans who always loved to see some Marklan fluff. "Okay, but on to the questions, first one. Where is Lachlan from."

"I come from London, England."

"Is Eleven allowed to have pups?" Mark read before glancing up to see Chaehyun with a horrified expression.

"Is my baby allowed to go through the endless amount of pain for that long? Hell no. She's my baby, she hurts, I hurt."

Mark sighed. "I am genuinely concerned like loving your dog is one thing but Chaehyun is like obsessed with Eleven. Like, he would literally prioritise Eleven over his future kid if he ever has one."

Chaehyun nodded, a proud grin climbing onto his face.

The questions went back and forth with Chaehyun pissing off the staff members by constantly saying things *cough* curse words *cough* and dirty jokes that they would have to cut out, but he was doing it after every question so they would have to spend extra time editing out all of his curses - though he did warn them that if they didn't leave at least one joke in he would cry and nobody wants to see Chaehyun cry.

"Shower heads have no self control man. Every naked person it sees turns it on."  Mark glanced up from the paper and then around at the staff who were all shrinking in their chairs at the terrible joke.

Mark found himself bursting out laughing anyway and this only encouraged Chaehyun to go on, even though the staff – who were rather amused – begged him to shut up and finish the interview.

"Mark, I'll treat you like my homework." The younger boy quirked an eyebrow as a sly smirk spread across Chaehyun's face. "I'll slam you on the table and do you all night long."

"OKAY! Next question." Chaehyun let out a high pitched scream, throwing his head back before clearing his throat and stared at Mark with a blank face as if nothing had happened. "Chaehyun, will you ever show us your abs? Like not just flashing them real quick?"

Chaehyun smirked. "No but I'll show you something else."

"Oh god." A staff member mumbled dropping her head against the desk.

"I'll show you my six pack of water because that's the only six pack I have babe." He winked causing literally everybody in the room to take a breath of relief. "What? Did you think I was going to say something else? I can show you that too depending on age—"

"Okay! No! We're done." Mark and Chaehyun burst out laughing as the staff members abruptly stopped the recording. Chaehyun chewed on his cheek to halt his laughter when the staff shot him a warning glance.

As Chaehyun stood up and whistled innocently when he strolled out the door the staff members turned to Mark looking mildly stressed.

"This is why we can't have him in solo videos."
