❀ Lachlan Taking Care Of The Staff❀

Chaehyun taking care of the staff moments 

MOMENT ONE

"Stay warm Noona, stay warm."

The icy air gazed over Chaehyun's cheeks as he stuffed his hands in his pockets, the wind blowing his once perfectly styled hair into a mess on top of his head, but somehow managed to look good. He kept his hands firmly inside his pockets, not finding it in him to care about to mishap regarding the hair on top of his head. Chaehyun actually only seemed to notice when a stylist headed towards him giggling, she was visibly shivering in her thin sweater as she reached up to fix the taller boys hair. 

"I think ur due to--what are you doing, Chae?" Chaehyun didn't respond, instead slid the jacket from off of his shoulders and went to wrap it around the shaking older lady, who was doing her best to fix his hair. Chaehyun stepped away from her causing her arms to fall to her side and he took the opportunity to put it around her body. "No! Chaehyun--" 

"Stay warm Noona, stay warm." Chaehyun patted her head and turned on his heel and laughed to himself as she grabbed his arm to pull him back. 

"It's important that you don't--" 

"You're important too, Noona. Now keep my jacket on your shoulders or else I will stable it to you and if anyone has a problem with it then tell them to come and speak to me personally. Thank you for fixing my hair, you are indeed the bed." And with that, the younger boy turned on his heel and headed towards Sicheng and Yuta who were watching him with grins. 

The stylist smiled to herself. "Aish, he's too pure for this world."

MOMENT TWO

"You go, I'll clean this" 

The time read 10:22 pm and Chaehyun had been in the studio all day. He decided to stay back later than the others as he wanted to perfect everything, as usual. With his bag on his shoulder, he headed down to the main entrance where he spotted the usual janitor on his hands and knees, scrubbing the floor. With a smile, he began to head towards the man when a lady rushed by, knocking over the bucket of water beside him as she did so. Not even stopping to apologize or even help, she headed straight for the door. Chaehyun knew the man well enough to know about his home life and he also knew that his shift was over minutes prior. 

"Oh, hey Chaehyun," the janitor greeted tiredly as Chaehyun kneeled beside him. 

"Go home, I'll clean this." 

The janitor stared at the boy with wide eyes before repeatedly shaking his head. "No, I must clean this myself, it's only a little. You've had a long day and--" 

"And your shift has ended. You have a newborn and a three-year-old who want their Dad to read them a bedtime story.  So get going." 

"Oh, you're a saint Chaehyun. I'll make it up to you, I really will!" Chaehyun shook his head in response and nodded towards the door. 

"Go, you don't need to repay me for anything. I know how hard you work, as you said, it's only a little bit. I'll get it clean in no time, you look like you're about to pass out so go on, have a safe trip home. See you tomorrow." With one last bow, the janitory scurried to collect his things.

 Chaehyun mopped up the water, he placed out a sign before heading out of the door, happy with himself.

MOMENT THREE

"She's not doing anything wrong." 

All day, Chaehyun had noticed the other staff members giving the newest employee a hard time. The lady was doing her best and anybody could see that, but today was a stressful day for the company and many blindly took their frustrations out on the newbie. Of course, they didn't mean it but there was no need for it. Chaehyun was extremely busy with the comeback plans and was far too occupied with that, he wanted to say something but he kept getting whisked away by work. 

However, the newbie entered the practice room after being instructed to clean up a tiny spill that Chenle had made during a live that the members were doing. Chaehyun watched the second youngest member apologize profusely at the mess made and was waved off by the staffs when the newest employee entered with some paper towels. Chenle went to get them off of her to clean up his own mess, but she assured him that it was fine. Chaehyun quickly moved the camera away so she wasn't in view, earning a small grateful smile to which he nodded in return. He slouched against Haechan, thinking nothing of the incident when the door slammed open causing the boys and staff to jump. 

"Who told you to come in here?!" Bellowed the man, giving no care to the live that the boys were doing. 

"I-I was told to clean it--" 

"No! I dont think you were! You are not to come in this room when the boys are doing activities unless instructed to--

"Woah, calm down. She was just cleaning up our mess, she's not doing anything wrong," Chaehyun interrupted causing the guy to turn and look at him. 

"She isn't supposed to be in here--"

"She was specifically told to come and clean up this mess. I heard it myself and if you don't believe me, go ask the other employees. All day she has been getting pushed around just because you're all in a bad mood and she's an easy target 'cause she's new. Learn some goddamn respect!" By this point, the boys had quickly taken the live somewhere else, much to Chaehyun's relief. 

The guy pinched the bridge of his nose. "Chaehyun, stay out of this--"

"No. I won't stay out of this when an innocent employee is getting shit for doing her job." As the words came out of his mouth, one of the higher up staff members entered the room. 

"Sorry, our mistake. We forgot to inform you that Ms Song is actually doing her job."

Chaehyun grinned. "Thank you, that's why you're my favourite." He then turned to the man with a glare. "Now apologise." 

Let's just say, that employee didn't have any trouble after that.

I know this is like my 3rd update, but I have had so much inspiration and wanted to post. Anyway, regarding the Hanra pregnancy plot, I will be putting on hold until i fully decide whether this is a plot I want to go through with, after reading through the chapter, I'm not sure whether im liking the plot.
