It had been a normal day.
A normal, stressful day of just work and stress and Chaehyun being a bad influence. The time was 6:37 PM and Chaehyun was in the practise room alone, running over some moves for the show the next day.
Sweat dripped down every inch of his body causing the plain black shirt to cling to his upper half, he grabbed a cold bottle of water which Ten had dropped in not even six minutes prior. WayV had been at the company too, so multiple of the members dropped into say hello.
Lucas hadn't made an appearance yet.
The door opened and in walked Sicheng followed by Kun. Dropping the water, Chaehyun raced towards Sicheng and jumped on top of him, causing the two of them to stumble. Chaehyun hasn't seen Sicheng in quite some time as the last time WayV was together with him, he was actually busy.
"Do you know how much I missed you?" Chaehyun asked softly, squeezing the older boy tighter. Kun chuckled from beside him as he reluctantly, very reluctantly pulled away. Sicheng had a big smile on his face, feeling the love from the younger boy. Kun and Chaehyun shared an embrace before he was clinging onto Sicheng again.
"I missed you too! How are you? I heard some things happened. Are you okay, Chaehyun?" A worried look clouded over Sicheng's eyes but Chaehyun only smiled in assurance.
"I'm doing...better. Not great, but better."
Sicheng nodded, deciding to leave that particular subject at that which Chaehyun was grateful for. The three went to sit down for a talk with Chaehyun literally sprawled across Sicheng — he'd missed him a lot. They had always been close, but due to SM's stupid decisions, the pair had been separated, which made everything Chaehyun was going through much harder.
"How's Renjun? I heard he went through a tough time this week," Kun spoke up worriedly. "I have called him and he said he's fine, he's been spending more time with you. Have you been looking after him? Did you smack the managers in the face because if not I give you full permission."
Chaehyun giggled as Kim's parental side made a comeback. He nodded his head in answer to one of his questions.
"Renjun is doing okay. He's just a little hurt by them plus he was sick a few days ago. I've been taking care of him don't worry, no one says anything to him whilst I'm around and if they say anything whilst I'm not around then I'll either make a complaint or not so subtly call Nctzens for help."
"We can always count on you to protect our younger babies." Kun slapped his cheek gently causing Chaehyun to scream and clutch the area as if Kun had just punched him. "And we can also count on you to be a dramatic drama queen."
Chaehyun pretended to pose and flicked his non-existent long locks. He then gave Kun a sideward glance. "At least I'm a queen."
The trio giggled but it came to a stop as the door swung open. Chaehyun didn't even get a chance to look up before someone had their lips against his. Frozen in shock, he sat there. When the person finally pulled away, he came face to face with Lucas. Behind him was an astounded Sicheng and a grinning Kun.
Chaehyun's mouth dropped open. A confusion met with a happy look was laced within the brown orbs that was staring up at a grinning yet blushing Lucas. That just happened. That really just happened.
"So we're guessing you want that kept a secret, right?" Sicheng spoke up slowly. He was in a state of shock, he was genuinely worried he was about to have a heart attack.
"Yes." Chaehyun and Lucas nodded in sync causing the two older boys to nod their heads with a promise that it would stay between them.
"So, we'll leave you two to talk....and only talk. Have fun. It was nice seeing you and we shall be going. Come on let's go Winwin." The pair stood up and left with happy and stiff waves. When the door closed, leaving the two alone Chaehyun finally reacted.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT FOR? YOU JUST WALZED IN AND SUCKED UP MY LIPS LIKE A FUCKING VACUUM WHERE DID THE CONFIDENCE COME FROM? NOW I WONT LIE, I LIKED IT. BUT WHAT THE HELL?"
Lucas was grinning. He rolled his eyes and leaned down once again, this time making sure Chaehyun gave him the permission to kiss him...however, the questioning stare he gave went right over Chaehyun's head.
"Why are you just staring at me like I'm a piece of cake? Like I know I'm tasty but—" Lucas groaned and pulled Chaehyun towards him once again, silencing him with a sweet yet short kiss.
Chaehyun blinked. "Someone's brave."
"Will you be serious for like five seconds. I'm trying to be all movie like."
"Well my dearest apologies Lucas. It's not everyday someone walks up to you and snogs your face off now is it?" Chaehyun replied sassily.
Lucas didn't know whether to slap him or kiss him again.
"So...this thing."
"STOP CALLING IT A THING!" Chaehyun screamed.
"WELL WHAT IS IT THEN?" Lucas yelled.
Chaehyun opened his mouth in slight shock. "Gosh, you don't need to yell at me. You know how emotional I am."
Lucas closed his eyes out of pure frustration, but jolted slightly when he felt a kiss to the corner of his lips.
"It's called a relationship. Now get out. Your frustrated, negative energy is making me sweat."
Lucas rolled his eyes and flicked Chaehyun's forehead earning a kick in return. The two laughed as Lucas headed out the room.
At least only the label changed and not the way they act around each other.
