"Oh yeah, cause meeting your ex-girlfriend is not suspicious at all." Lucas rolled his eyes as he trailed behind a hurried Chaehyun, who swiftly stopped and turned around. His fingers latched around Lucas' wrist and pulled him along as an attempt to make him speed up.

"Jealousy isn't a flattering colour on you LuluPoo." Chaehyun turned to face the younger boy with a grin, using his free hand to pinch Lucas' cheeks. The younger boy simply glared at him before picking up his speed, much to Chaehyun's advantage.

Lucas did have a point though. Meeting your ex-girlfriend at 3:09 in the morning would definitely not have an innocent impression to Dispatch and KUpdates. Yeri had called Chaehyun an hour prior begging him to meet up with her in the sketchiest place in Seoul at 3 AM. Chaehyun had been in the studio with Lucas at the time and decided to drag him along with him. Lucas was trying to act like he didn't wanna be there, but it was quite obvious he did.

They rounded the corner and saw a smaller figure leaning against the wall. Noticing who it was immediately, Chaehyun let out a huff and stormed towards his ex-girlfriend who seemed to be on edge. The taller and older boy grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her lightly.

"What the hell are you doing here alone? You could've been murdered!" He scolded her, pulling her into his chest. She chuckled and wrapped her arms around her best friend's middle whilst Lucas leaned against the wall with his hands in his pockets. The air grew awkward quite quickly and the two pulled away from each other earning an amused chuckle from Lucas.

"I thought you two ended on good terms? Why are you being so awkward around hugging?"

"Shut up it's not awkward."

"It is kinda awkward Chae."

The eldest in the circle let out an exasperated sigh and slumped against the wall next to Lucas. Yeri eyed the close proximity between them with a knowing grin which quickly vanished when she realized why she actually called them to meet up with her.

"Where's your car?" She asked.

Chaehyun furrowed his eyebrows. "Around the cor--ouch okay ow when did you get so strong?" Yeri was tugging the two boys out of the alleyway and towards Chaehyun's car. She grabbed the keys out of his hoodie pocket and unlocked it before sliding into the passenger's seat. Lucas huffed and got into the back whilst Chaehyun got into the driver's seat. "Care to explain why you just broke my wrist kidnapping me?"

"I need your advice," she rushed out, almost like she had changed her mind.

Lucas snorted. "And you couldn't just call him?"

She turned and shot him a glare to which he responded with throwing his arms up defensively. Lucas was sprawled across the backseat with one foot on the seat whilst the other remained on the floor. Yeri turned to look back at Chaehyun who was just glancing between the two with a weird look. He quickly tore his gaze away and kept his frozen on Yeri when he noticed she was now looking at him.

"I've been dealing with a little bit of hate recently because of a stupid scandal. The news article messed up and reported some false news on me. I've had to deal with hate in the past but you've always been there to help me and I-I guess I feel like we've grown apart. I just--can you please give me on some advice? How do you handle all the hate?"

"I just take it with a grain of salt. I know some of the things they say about me is true and I know some of it's dramatised. To deal with hate on a higher level you have to understand the difference between real and dramatised. You need to accept the things that are true and roll your eyes at the things that aren't. If people are calling you names then you just need to blow a kiss and say 'thanks boo' because you know you're not what they say you are. Try to lay low for a while, stay out of drama if you can. Stay out of the tabloids and just wait till it all blows over. Plus, SM has already put out a statement and you're getting many apologies."

Chaehyun wouldn't lie, he was slightly confused by Yeri's sudden need of help. The scandal had blown over and she had dealt with worse and something told him that there was more to the story. There was another reason behind why she wanted him to meet her, but he didn't get to ask because Lucas was already reading his mind.

"Why did you really want him to meet you because I think we all know you of all people do not need his help with this situation. You can handle yourself."

The two boys shared a look of confusion as Yeri let out a harsh sigh.

"There's something you need to know."
