It had been a week and the boys were now in Vancouver. Since the allegations broke free, Chaehyun had not been himself. Giving one word answers or being straight up blunt, it was evident he hadn't been sleeping and nobody could remember the last time they saw him eat something. Yeri had refused to talk to him, even after SM cleared everything up. After receiving backlash, Flowersforred or Taelyn had issued an apology and claimed that the picture had indeed been taken back when they had their thing, but Yeri still wouldn't answer to him.
Chaehyun had now given up trying to contact her and sent her a very long paragraph about how he was at a loss of what to do and if she didn't respond then he'd take that as her wanting to break up. He got left on read. So, Chaehyun simply took that as her breaking up with him and simply left her alone. She clearly wanted nothing to do with him and Chaehyun himself was now pissed off because the evidence that he hadn't cheated was right before her eyes.
With Chaehyun in a state, Taeyong begged SM to allow Lucas to take some time and come out to visit him - of course, it took a lot of convincing, but Lucas soon found himself waltzing towards the group of boys whilst Mark and Haechan took Chaehyun on a walk to clear his head. The boys quickly greeted their member who they hadn't seen that much of in a while before leading him towards the bus. Taeyong shot a text to Mark, requesting for Chaehyun to be returned as Lucas had arrived.
"Have you seen Yeri?" Jaehyun quietly asked.
Lucas shook his head. "Tried to get through to her for Chaehyun's sake but she doesn't want to hear it. I just can't understand why? This isn't like Yeri at all. She's never normally this stubborn and Chaehyun has literally proved that he hasn't cheated so why she's refusing to at least even talk to him is beyond me."
Any hope the boys had completely faltered. They had all tried to get through to Yeri, but she didn't want to be spoken to and there was nothing more the boys could do about that anymore. Their main issue was keeping Chaehyun from tipping over the edge. The tour bus was silent until the door opened revealing an excited Haechan licking some ice cream, Mark with a lollipop and Chaehyun with a frown on his face.
"They took me out to distract me and I was the one buying them things. What fucked up logic is that?" Chaehyun huffed, throwing jacket onto his bunk. The two boys licked their ice treats innocently earning chuckles from the other boys. "And it wasn't even just that, I literally bought them--" Chaehyun's sentence came to a halt when his eyes finally landed on his best friend. "Lucas?"
And for the first time in a week, a genuine smile stretched across his face. Lucas pushed himself up just in time to catch his best friend who launched himself at him. Lucas pressed the back of his hand against Chaehyun's head as he stuffed his face into Lucas' neck. It had been the first positive emotion Chaehyun had felt in a week, it was refreshing. The two pulled apart upon noticing the smirks and looks being passed around in the room.
"I didn't know how much I had missed seeing you two together in the same room until just now." Johnny breathed out a laugh. "Luchlan reunited boys!!"
"Okay, we got him here so will you please, please, pleaaase eat something?!" Asked Taeyong.
"He has to. I'm hungry. DATE NIGHT." Lucas grabbed Chaehyun's hand and pulled him out of the bus until they both returned, still hand in hand. "We have no idea where we're going. Let's go!"
The boys chuckled and filed out of the bus. Chaehyun was in seemingly high spirits, smiling and joking more. He wasn't himself, but he was getting there. The boys could only hope that Yeri would come 'round soon, so they could have their Chaehyun back. However, as for now, he only needed the boys and his very best friend, Lucas.

stay.zen okay this is cute but is nobody worrying about Chaehyun? Like with the cheating allegation on top of everything else and Yeri reportedly not taking his calls, the boys must have been really worried about him to literally get Lucas to fly to them...baby must have been in a bad place.
