BIG YOUTUBER SHADES NCT'S KIM LACHLAN.
South Korean Youtube sensation; Choi Yunjun receives backlash after reportedly shading NCT member, Kim Lachlan - Chaehyun - in his latest video. The video was based around his opinion on this generation Kpop stars and well, he had a lot to say about the 22 membered boy group, NCT, specifically Chaehyun.
Kim Chaehyun is no stranger to the media and scandals after the number he has been involved in just this year alone.
Yunjun stated, 'NCT's 'fame' mainly has risen due to the number of scandals which Lachlan has been involved in. The only reason why they are still talked about is because of him and his dumb decisions. Personally, I think NCT would be better off without him and it appears that SM thinks the same considering they offered him a solo contract - he is not the best in NCT, I would go as far as saying he's the least talented of them all, so I don't get why he has had the most attention? Oh right, because he doesn't know how to behave and is on the front cover of every magazine for being an idiot.'
Yunjun then went onto claim, 'I know Lachlan personally. We met through his sister Hanra due to a collab and he is by far the rudest person I have ever met. I also know that he does not have a clean past. I don't give a shit what he's been through, that boy is not as innocent as everyone seems to think he is. He milks everything he goes through and don't even get me started on how he managed to land both Yeri and Dahyun. Two amazing girls that are way too good for him. Don't hate me, that's just my opinion."
We know that Chaehyun is not shy when it comes to defending himself and though he is yet to speak out on the situation, we have a feeling that he won't let this one slide as he has already offered a few subtle digs towards the 18-year-old youtube star in numerous interviews. He is known as being SM's biggest trouble maker and some fans are worried that his rebellious nature will get him kicked out of the company one day. Others are simply proud of him for doing something to defend his group and himself.
Lachlan is known for having a playful nature, so it was no surprise to be honest when he incorporated the digs into a few jokes. For instance, when the boys claimed that Chaehyun can be the loudest, he responded with, 'Oh well, when you're the least talented you have got to do something to make sure people know who you are."
He also replied with, "You love our group? Really? Is it because of my dumb decisions that get me on the front cover of every magazine?"
That response was actually to a fan who screamed at him during a show, claiming that they loved him. Needless to say, people caught onto his digs quite quickly and it didn't end well for Yunjun, who was receiving many comments from NCTzens, demanding for him to issue an apology. There has been no statement from SM or Yunjun just yet and we are excited to see the drama unravel.
