◎ Renjun's confession ◎

"And you needed to call me at 3 AM because?..."

A guilty look crossed over Renjun's face as Chaehyun turned on his side and rubbed his eyes tiredly. "I forgot that timezones exist. Sorry Hyung, but I'm in desperate need of your help."

Chaehyun nodded, urging the younger boy to continue. He was now growing worried, Renjun only ever called him when it was important and he looked very panicked.

"Promise you won't freak out?"

"Renjun...what the hell have you done?"

"Um well...you see, I was happily minding my own business just walking around the dorm you know, as you do and I accidentally stumbled into Jeno's room and caught him making out with somebody and now I'm afraid because I don't know who he's sharing germs with."

Chaehyun let out and exasperated sigh which got cut off by the laughter which tumbled from his lips. Oh the innocence of baby Renjun.

"You woke me up because you caught Jeno doing something that's very natural in the human world?" Renjun nodded, feeling no shame. "Renjun, here's what you do. You step away, you wait until you next see Jeno and you take the absolute piss out of him. It's quite simple really, have I taught you nothing?"

"But the company—"

"What the company doesn't know won't kill them. You're still young, you have rights to go out and have fun and if Jeno wants to 'share germs' as you put it then he's entitled to do so. As are you. Just don't get caught...like me...yeah why did you come to me again? I've been in way too many scandals regarding relationships. I'm probably the worst person to go to for this."

"No. You're actually the best considering you won't freak out like the older Hyungs, you won't run your mouth like Haechan, Lucas and Ten Hyung, you won't stand there and stare at me blankly like Sicheng and Mark would and you wouldn't just clap and be all cute like Jungwoo Hyung. I think you'll find you're the only person in NCT who would actually know what to do."

Chaehyun felt flattered.

Renjun sat down on his bed and sighed. He really didn't want to admit it, but he did miss talking to Chaehyun. As if sensing that Renjun's stubbornness was stopping him from being affectionate, a smirk curled up onto Chaehyun's tired face.

"You can say it Renjunnie. You love me. You miss me. You can admit it, I already got Jaemin to admit it – which was easy since that boy literally worships the ground I walk on."

Renjun scoffed, "only because you love being loved. People worshipping the ground you walk on is the only free ticket to being free of your teasing and embarrassing antics."

"Say you love me right this instant or I'll tell everyone that you got flustered over seeing Jeno eating somebodies lips."

You wouldn't believe this boy is in his twenties.

Renjun rolled his eyes.

"Fine." Renjun hesitated, his face scrunching as he cringed. "I-ew oh my god- I l-love you Chaehyun hyung. There I said it."

"And?"

Chaehyun rested his fist beneath his chin and gave a 'im waiting' teasing smile towards Renjun who literally looked like he wanted to slam his head against a wall.

"I miss you." It was said through gritted teeth and a glare with a lot of hesitation, but Chaehyun still let the largest grin take over his face.

"You love me."

"Yes we've established that."

"You really love me. And you miss me."

Renjun was slowly starting to regret requesting Chaehyun's advice.

"I love you too and I miss you a whole lot more even if you do get flustered over seeing somebody lock lips. You're a baby Renjunnie. A cute little—shit. A cute little shit that just hung up on me. Wow."

Chaehyun stared at his home screen in shock. Seconds later, his phone dinged indicating a text had come through. Pressing on the notification, it took him to his messages with Renjun.

Chaehyun glared at the message, he was about to type a reply when another two messages came through.

And a pimple on your nose.

Chaehyun replied with two kissy faces back before placing his phone back on the nightstand. He rolled over and wrapped himself up in a blanket. He was inches from drifting off when it hit him.

Jeno still has his Hannah Montana night light...

It's 4 AM, I'm about to sleep but I wanted to post something because I have been so inactive. Sorry for that, I've just been dealing with a lot of stuff mentally, but writing about Lachlan always helps 💓
