This is a chapter from the Charlie book, as I have decided to continue it and have been working on it all day for the past two days, I wanted to give you another chapter from it.

It's safe to say that I will be publishing it very soon.

"Hey Chae Chae."

Chaehyun ignored the older boy and continued to type on his phone. Chaehyun and Charlie were heading down the street after a long session at the gym. The time read 10:45 and the two sweaty boys were ready for bed.

Charlie decided that he wanted to be irritating, Chaehyun had been paying attention to his phone since the second the two boys left and Charlie was intrigued. "Who ya texting? Your imaginary girlfriend?"

Chaehyun looked up and scoffed, he stuffed the phone in his pocket causing Charlie to grin. "I don't have a girlfriend. I'm happily single. I was texting Daeyoon."

"So, you was texting Yeri," Charlie clarified with a knowing grin causing Chaehyun to make a high pitched sound. "I've been your friend for what? Three years. I know that you don't smile whilst reading Daeyoon's texts."

Chaehyun's mouth dropped open slightly, he was about to defend himself but realising that he couldn't. Charlie knew him far too well. Sighing, Chaehyun ran a hand through his hair.

"Fine. Yes I was texting Yeri, but we're nothing more than friends." Charlie smiled and raised his eyebrows, Chaehyun turned to him and frowned. "What? We are just friends!"

"Mhm."

"This is controversial but I hate you." Chaehyun mumbled. "Go on get all your fangirls on me. My girls...and boys, will protect me against your army."

Charlie shook his head with a laugh and kicked a stone that rolled beneath his shoe. The two walked in silence for a while, both just enjoying the silence after a long day and then an even longer work out.

"So do you like her?" Charlie's voice cut through the silence, leaving a layer of thick tension in the air as Chaehyun sighed.

He shrugged. "I don't know. I've never been good with my feelings, I guess I just—I don't know. Everytime I think about another girl, I feel dirty almost like I'm cheating on Dahyun."

Charlie sighed. The younger boy had been hung up on the same girl for so long and yet still won't do anything to help it. He tried moving on, but did that work? No. Charlie had tried to help, but there was only so much he could do. Chaehyun was mixed between his feelings for Dahyun and his thoughts on Yeri.

Yeri had been his close friend for so long and so, Charlie could see why he was struggling with that one. He didn't want to like her because if he hurt her or mess up like he did with his other relationships, he's lost her all together.

Sighing, Charlie threw an arm around his friend who was internally fighting with himself. "Just take things slow. Have you tried talking to Lucas about this? He usually helps you think."

"No, he's been working on the WayV promotions and stuff so I haven't had the chance to talk to him, when I do get to I'd rather just spent time with him than talking about my problems. I'd rather forget and just hang out with my best friend."

Charlie nodded. "Just don't lead anyone on and you should be fine, think through your feelings and just see where your thoughts take you. You don't need to be getting worked up about it, you're still young. You don't need a relationship."

Chaehyun only nodded and looked around, inhaling the fresh air as he stuffed his hands in his pockets. Charlie never removed his arm from around his shoulder as the pair walked.

No matter what conclusion Chaehyun came to, he knew he would always have Charlie to lean on and give him the best advice he could muster up.
