"I think we need to break up." The words flew out of her mouth before she could even stop to think and her heart aches as Chaehyun's face went blank.

Yeri hadn't been feeling it. She felt as though Chaehyun was better off a friend rather than a boyfriend and their entire relationship felt forced. She had assumed he felt the same until she saw the complete look of hurt on his face and she had never felt as bad in her life.

Chaehyun on the other hand felt like someone had just smacked him in the heart with a baseball bat. Of course, he'd been in a horrible situation with his feelings but breaking up hadn't crossed his mind. He'd been sure that Yeri is the one he wanted and now he was just confused and hurt.

He didn't want to lose her.

"Um...sure then. Yeah."

Yeri knew he was forcing the response and she sighed running a hand over her face. She thought this would be easy, she had it in her head that Chaehyun felt the same but now she wasn't so sure.

"I just feel like it's be—"

"Dahyun confessed to being in love with me, then Kun Hyung decided it would be funny to throw a spanner into my already confusing situation and now I think I'm questioning my sexuality but I don't want to lose you because I am totally and utterly in love with you."

Yeri was stunned.

"Youre in love with me and questioning your sexual—oh someone finally told you huh?" Chaehyun's face went blank and Yeri giggled. "Someone finally told you about your possible feelings for Lucas."

His mouth dropped open. And Yeri couldn't lie, he looked adorable when he was all confused. She smiled and brushed the hair out of her face, attempting to ignore the feeling in her chest. He just told her he was completely and utterly in love with her, she didn't know what to do.

Of course, she loved him but in love? They're good best friends and she was hoping to go back to that quite easily. Now she was questioning everything herself.

"How did you know?"

"It doesn't take a genius to figure out Chaehyun. Lucas is your best friend but there's always something about the way you smile at each other. I mean come on, you look at each other like one of you put the stars in the sky."

Chaehyun sighed. "Can we go back to our relationship that is no longer a relationship please? We need to talk that out."

Yeri fiddled with her fingers and took her lip between her teeth. "Fine, I just feel like we're better off as best friends...I want my best friend back Chaehyun. I'd rather us end now than get my heartbroken and ruin our friendship."

Chaehyun let out a high pinched scoff. "What about my heart? You broke it! I'm TORN APART right now. Look at me!"

She couldn't help but laugh at his dramatic scream, he got closer to the camera to show her his eye which he had forced a tear out of. Oh, Chaehyun will be Chaehyun.

"Oh by the way I saw a monkey at the zoo today. Reminded me of you."

Yeri smiled. "Cause I'm your little monkey?"

"No because it was hairy and kept glaring at me whenever I went near it."

Yeri was amused to say the least. Chaehyun was still enjoying insulting her, at least that hadn't changed.

"I actually hate you."

"Gosh! First you break up with me and now you're saying you hate me? Way to add salt to the wound Yeri. Broke my heart twice in 4 minutes, what an actual record breaker." He held his chest and pulled a face.

"If I could slap you then I would."

"That would be abuse my darling."

"Animal abuse."

The two continued to playfully insult each other for the next hour and a half before Yeri eventually drifted off to the sound of Chaehyun singing softly to her.

They may have now broken up, but they had promised each other that no matter what, their friendship would remain the same. And Chaehyun has made her promise numerous times that no other partner would ever be better than him.

He was just happy he hadn't lost her for good.

She was just about to fully loose consciousness when Chaehyun began whispering monkey noises.
Yeri's eyes snapped open and the laughter bubbled in her chest.

Somethings never change no matter what happens.

So, after a lot of responses I went with the one that got the most requested and it was for them to split and Chaehyun take a break from dating. So, I decided that's the best thing to do.

I hope you guys enjoyed. I was supposed to have the Taeil chapter out but I haven't even written it and just wanted to get this out of the way.
