◎ Surprise Appearance ◎

A/N; it's 4:35am, I have had no sleep and I'm currently trying to decide whether I want to add another member or not. So this is probably a little messy but after like over 60 chapters, I'm sure we're all used to this by now 😂

Chaehyun missed performing. Though he was now only weeks from getting his cast removed, he still needed to wait until his wrist had fully healed until he could start up performing again. But Chaehyun is prone to not following the rules and so, he found himself backstage just one song before the concert ended.

He wasn't going to dance, but he was going to just sit out and sing. He wanted to surprise the fans and the boys. The stylist seemed unsure as she added the lip tint to his lips and Chaehyun smiled up at her sweetly.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" She asked.

Chaehyun nodded. "My wrist is wrapped up in a cast. To be honest, I don't think there would be any harm done if I did decide to dance but to keep you all at ease, I'll just sit out."

On stage, the boys were having a talk with the crowd but Taeyong's sentence began to slow as he saw a crew member head on stage with a stool in his hand. Acting like it hadn't happened, Taeyong turned back to the crowd who were just as baffled and continued his talk. The other members glanced between each other in question.

"Can we just get to the song? As much as I love flirting with the crowd, I haven't performed in a while and I'm starting to get impatient." Chaehyun's voice cut through the venue, halting Taeyong's sentence as he finally walked onto stage.

A loud chorus of screams echoed all around causing a bright smile to form on Chaehyun's face as he lifted his hands up to wave at the crowd. Jungwoo and Yuta grinned at their younger member and tackled him into a hug whilst the others slowly made their way towards him, hesitant and confused.

Taeyong opened his mouth in shock. He hadn't been expecting Chaehyun to just show up especially towards the end of the concert. People were crying, screaming, fainting and panicking whilst Chaehyun plopped down in the seat that had been set out for him.

"We missed you!" Taeyong cheered but Chaehyun didn't miss the look in his eye.

He was in so much trouble when he got back to the dorms.

But as long as he could perform, he didn't really care.
