❛ 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐥𝐚𝐧. 𝗇𝖼𝗍 𝖺𝖽𝖽𝖾𝖽 𝗆𝖾𝗆𝖻𝖾𝗋

♡ Meeting the big brother ♡

"If you break his heart then I won't hesitate to find you and sneeze on you." 

Daeyoon hid his flushed face in his hands as he turned his gaze away from the phone where his brother was shooting daggers at his boyfriend. The shy boy beside him nodded quickly and shyly, eyes wide as his cute little cheeks puffed out - something Daeyoon noticed he did when he was shy or intimidated. In this case, he was both. Meeting Hanra and his grandparents had passed by like a breeze on a hot day, relieving. However, though Chaehyun was the first one to know about Daeyoon's boyfriend he hadn't had the chance to meet him considering his schedule. So, when Daeyoon received a random Facetime call from his brother who was screaming about something to do with pancakes, he was pretty shocked. 

Chaehyun himself was shocked. When he had made the spontaneous decision to bombard his brother with facetime calls to tell him about the pancakes he had managed to make without burning them, he wasn't expecting for a boy to be shirtless beside him. Chaehyun instantly recognized the boy as Daeyoon's boyfriend and of course, Chaehyun being the brat he is couldn't stop himself from making fun of the two, telling them to keep it down if they're in the same house as his grandparents. It took Daeyoon a second to catch on until he realized and of course, the pair looked like a pair of cherries. 

"So, are you going to properly introduce your big brother to your boyfriend or am I just gonna have to keep calling him Dae's Bae?" There was a hint of amusement latched within Chaehyun's voice and Daeyoon mentally scolded himself for even picking up the phone call. The person he had been most nervous to introduce his boyfriend to had been Chaehyun, not only because of how embarrassing he made things but also because, even though Daeyoon would never admit it out loud, he looked up to Chaehyun. He wanted his approval because, in some aspects, Chaehyun had been the fill-in father figure. He wanted the approval from Chaehyun more than anybody. 

Chaehyun was extremely shocked when Daeyoon blurted out the fact that he was bisexual and he was even more shocked when he found out that he had been the first one to find out. Daeyoon had always felt more comfortable talking to Chaehyun about personal things than he was with his grandparents or Hanra because Chaehyun had been there for him since the day he was born, even if they argue all the time, they had a very close bond. A sense of pride ran through him when Daeyoon came out to him because he had known that Daeyoon found it hard to find acceptance in himself. Coming out was the first step to him being accepting of who he is, not just with his sexuality but with the man he has grown up into. He was slowly starting to have that self-love which had been snatched from him when he was a child because Chaehyun wasn't the only one who had to go through a rough time. His siblings had suffered the same fate he had, they were also struggling mentally trying to get through their childhood incidents. 

For Daeyoon, the fact that his parents had never really been in his life had caused him so much pain and insecurity to the point where he didn't even want to look in the mirror. He blamed himself, his flaws and personality for being the reason they didn't want him. Chaehyun had held him countless of times and let him sob into his chest as he explained that he just felt ugly inside and out. Which is why, when Daeyoon began to accept himself for who he was, the first step was to coming out and Chaehyun may or may not have sobbed a whole lot. 

"My name is Yang Dongil. Nice to meet you--" 

"Do not use formalities, you're apart of the family. Call me Chaehyun." Daeyoon let out a subtle breath of relief as a bright smile lit up on Chaehyun's face. He had approved it. "Daeyoon your boyfriend is absolutely adorable, look at his little cheeks. God! I wanna cry, he's so cute compared to you, what the hell! LOOK AT HIM, HE'S BLUSHING." 

Dongil giggled lightly and hid his face in Daeyoon's arm, earning an even bigger squeal from Chaehyun. Suddenly, distance footsteps sounded on the phone before Jungwoo's head popped into the frame. He sent an enthusiastic wave towards the two flustered boys. Chaehyun moved up to give him room to sit beside him, Chaehyun shifted and got himself into the position that Daeyoon and Dongil were in, coping Daeyoon's facial expression. Jungwoo quickly caught on and copied Dongil. 

"Look, we're on a double date how cute." 

"Oh yes!" Jungwoo cheered. "By the way, congratulations on your relationship and I think you are very amazing or coming out on the internet. Go relationships!" 

Jungwoo was usually shyer and less talkative, so Daeyoon was pretty surprised that he was all energetic. Chaehyun glanced at Jungwoo and something clicked, his eyes softened and smile brightened. Daeyoon was always a little bit jealous of the NCT boys. He liked them, he would have never talked bad about them but he was slightly envious because Chaehyun wasn't just his brother anymore. It was evident that the boys adored Chaehyun and he cherished them. They got to spend all of their time with him and he didn't. 

"American air has gotten to his brain, he's suddenly confident. Don't worry about him. Jungwoo why don't you go look at the pretty flowers with Mark ey?" Chaehyun practically cooed earning a weird look from Jungwoo. Instead of questioning it, Jungwoo waved towards the couple before sliding off the bed and screamed for Mark to take him out to pick the flowers outside for Chaehyun. "He's been in a weird mood today. Never mind him. Anyway, how did Hanra react?" 

"She was  upset that she wasn't told first, but she's happy for me." 

"I sent her a text but she left me on read so I've decided to disown her." 

"You're not disowning our baby sister." 

Sometimes it felt like Daeyoon was the older brother. Dongil chuckled at the break out of a random conversation as he placed his phone on the bedside table before snuggling back into Daeyoon's arms and Chaehyun smirked when he noticed the loving smile on his younger brothers face. 

"Ahh young love. i remember when I was your age--"

"You're literally two years older than me." 

"Shut up, no one asked you." Chaehyun's eyes narrowed towards Daeyoon who rolled his eyes and threw his head back against the headboard making it shake slightly. Chaehyun held back his giggles, imagining the look on his gran's face when she heard the movement. The walls were thin. He knew that better than anybody. "If you're gonna do the deed then remember the walls are thin. Put a pillow behind the headboard to keep it from pounding against the wall. Okay bye boys, have fun! Love you!" 

Before Daeyoon could let the shock wear off, Chaehyun abruptly ended the call leaving the pair sitting alone mouths open. Trust Chaehyun to bring up the topic they hadn't yet spoken about. Glancing at each other the air was awkward until out of nowhere, Dongil burst out laughing. Daeyoon quirked a brow in his direction, an amused smile spreading across his face. 

"What?" He asked with a chuckle. 

"The fans were right, Chaehyun is the funniest Kim brother." 

Daeyoon's mouth dropped open and Dongil slid away with a sly smirk. Raising a brow, Daeyoon launched himself on top of his boyfriend knowing he was ticklish. A shriek of delight bounced off of the walls as laughter followed. Daeyoon's movements came to a stop and he lowered himself down, pressing a kiss to Daeyoon's lips. Needless to say, Chaehyun's advice came in handy.
