2 weeks well into my journey with ukulele. My hands seem to have developed a "feel" for the instrument. I can switch chords, do the strumming and finger-picking with better accuracy now.
The thing is, I still haven't got into the rhythm and keep playing out of tune. It sucks. I know that practicing with metronome is neccessary, but I know it's going to take much more time than the merely physical techniques.
Anyway, music theory comes as a surprising pleasure to me. I really enjoy reading those theories and apply them to the songs I listen to or read. Moreover, I even grow a genuine interest for music in general. I even plan to take up flute once again.
