Anybody out there?

Hello there, it's me the author.

About 15 minutes ago I suddenly remembered that I have a Wattpad account. So I bopped on over here and found that I had exactly 14,342 notifications that have accumulated over the last 3ish years. The most recent notifications being from just last month.

I honestly have no idea how many people out there in the world are going to read this message, but you all have sent me such kind and encouraging things these last few years. And I feel terrible that I haven't even looked at them yet.

So I'm here today to address a couple things.
1. I have gotten many comments and private messages asking for my permission to translate my work into other languages. First of all, that's fuckin cool. I didn't even think my writing was good when I first started publishing. This was meant for me to brain dump and share with my high school buddies.
Second, yes of course you have my permission to translate these stories. As long as you do not claim it as your own. Tag my account, mention that it's a translation or that it is borrowed material, whatever works for you.
And yes you may add your own content as well, but make sure you take credit for your own stuff. I'm not trying to steal your thunder!

2 Many many many of you have asked me when/ if I'm coming back...
Well here I am!
Unfortunately I am not back for good. Which leads me to my next point...

3. Ideally I would love to come back to the Wattpad community. Start writing and posting regularly again. Taking requests, replying to your guys comments, all that.... but realistically that's just is not going to happen.

I am days away from finishing my second year of college, where I am studying Kinesiology (fancy word for "the study of human movement") (which is an even fancier way of saying I'm a medical student). That being said, my life is not what it used to be. I am a full time student during the scholastic year, and work a full time job during the summer. I am also not in the greatest living situation at the moment.

4. I started this series of stories in 2015. I was maybe 16 years old at most. At the time I was exiting a very dark period of my life and this was sort of a therapy for me. I'm actually going to tell you guys the story of how all of this came to be...

When I was 16 my dad and I went to visit my grandparents for a week in Oklahoma. (For all my international readers, that is a state in the middle of the country and it is VERY boring). Normally when I go visit it's a holiday or at least I have my mom and sister with me as well. But the two of them had to fly to Portugal to visit my other grandmother... so it is safe to say I was very very bored. I was reading fanfics, as you do, and thinking to myself... all of this sucks. That is not how that character talks. Why would anyone ever do that? And then I thought... I could make my own. And make it awesome.
The rest I assume you can figure out from there...
and now here we are years and years later.

5. I really am sorry everyone. I assume my demographic of readers is 13-17 year old girls... because that's how I was when I was thinking about/ writing these. Ladies (and gents) it is something that you don't see coming... growing up. One day you wake up, and realize how busy and chaotic your life has become and you remember the little things that slipped through the cracks... that's where I am right now. And 20 something year old, with no time and 100% different priorities.

6. And finally, I don't want you guys to be mad or sad of anything like that. Don't worry about me, or the future of this book. I haven't marked it complete yet. And I haven't marked my life complete yet. There's hope for me, and maybe for this book too. I can't make any promises that there will be another update, maybe ever. But every couple months (maybe years) I'll come back to it, and check on it. And on you.

So keep writing. Keep reading, drawing, working, Translating, Moving. Whatever makes you get up in the morning. Send things my way, I'll see it eventually. And I definitely reply the second I do.
