You breathe in the fresh sea air, hands pushed into your pockets because it's so cold.  Why Namjoon decided to embark the seas so early in the morning you didn't know,  but this biting freezing air. Hoseok wraps his arms around Jimin, letting the younger one feel warm in his embrace.  His khaki jacket is enough to fit the both of them.

"Come on, let's go. "

Yoongi shrugs on his own coat and climbs up the ramp to the ship. For a grumpy guy, he's surprisingly enthusiastic about this departure. Well, he's been saying from the beginning that we should be travelling. Finally his wish has come true. There was no need to pack anything since wherever you went resources were available to you. However, the need to load this mini-ship with some food and clothing was obviously satisfied.

"But are we sure?" you find yourself asking on the day itself. "We don't even know how to properly run this thing."

There's a sarcastic cough for attention, and you look up to see him leaning against the railing, looking comfortable. "I think you're forgetting," Yoongi coughs. "That I'm here."

You smile a little, enjoying the sudden dominant Yoongi who's confident in his structure. Despite being so unsupportive, lazy and uninterested, the guy's past profession turned out to be quite surprising and helpful.

"Don't doubt the Navy," Jimin says nudging you. "This man worked for his country at a time."

You exhale a puff of air that forms a little cloud in front of your lips as you look up at Yoongi trying to picture him in a marine soldier's uniform. Apparently,  Yoongi had been serving military duties on the coastal sector of his country and had been pretty proud and good at it.

The funny thing was that he didn't remember which country.

"Let's get it," Jungkook says excitedly,  hopping up the steps of the ram into the boat. The ship was small but convenient with more than enough rooms for the eight of you to have one for yourself though you were sure it would not end up being that way. There was a kitchen,  spacious enough to please Seokjin, open deck facilities and showers with steaming hot water.  There was really nothing to complain about except the fact that all of this,  was in the hands of the most untrustworthy person of the group.

However, this morning,  Min Yoongi was looking more sprightly as he set about busy pulling ropes and tying them to hooks. He'd explained it was best to use  the sails and go for natural energy and save the engine for emergency cases.  Since neither of the rest including you had a reasonable response or even dared to reply for the fact,  it was decided that Yoongi was in charge and that was that.

But that did not mean,  he worked alone.

"Yah Jeon Jungkook! Get that heavy round thing there, you're strong.  Yes that one... Bring it here. "

"Park,  get ur ass up that mast, I need you to tie something there."

"Namjoon stay the hell away from the wheel."

You sigh, watching everyone get to work busy.  It was good for them to stretch their legs and have something to look forward to than "another day of breathing" As Yoongi put it.  Taehyung giggled from beside you and you turn to hear his thoughts.

"Doesn't he look like a pirate?" Taehyung grins. "If he had an eye-patch or something?"

You nod in agreement. "That's what. It would suit him more than to think he was actually doing something legal and respectful."

"Y/N~, can you please help me out?" Jin flashes you an award-winning smile, treating you with extra care like his only daughter. You move forward to help the man out.

"Here let's play some music, " Hoseok says brightly, lighting up the sun in spite of lack thereof in the sky.  After the drizzle of the day before, there has just been more and more clouds threatening a similiar. You lived the sound of rain and it's petrichor,  however,  it just pulled down the mood and there was more resistance to going outside.

Hoseok brings out a large speaker from his bag,  connecting the Bluetooth to his phone as he hits his favorite song, slowly dancing to it.

But-

"Jung Hoseok, " Yoongi growls,  like some teacher catching a student sleeping in his class.  "Do you find this entertaining? Shut that up right now."

"Hyung please~" Hoseok says, making anime eyes.  "I have this song I think you'll like. It's called Seesa-"

"I don't give a shit, " Yoongi says carelessly. However, the new mood Yoongi seems kinder and instead of violently remarking again he simply says. "Don't play it so loud."

You don't know how much time passed but it would have been about forty five minutes to an hour before every thing was set and transferred from the Ford to the ship.  When Jin finally pulled the anchor,  arms straining but face refusing to show any weakness, the edge of the sun was tipping the horizon.

All of you gathered on deck,  Jungkook holding one end of the sail tightly as the ship swerved out of the dock.  You felt like fishermen going out on sea with big hearts for a big catch.

Namjoon and Jin lean against each other,  wiping the sweat off their foreheads as the rest of you, let the sea breeze wash you're stresses away.  Thoughts wash over you as you inhale the salty scent as everyone works.

It was strange,  really.  How everything was.  Namjoon claimed this was the past yet there were so many notions to say it could not be.  Advanced technology,  internet, luxurious inventions.  Unless this was 2006 or something that would not be possible.

Taehyung had far fetched ideas that did not really surround a core theory. He thought of aliens,  natural changes and then occasionally,  religious propositions.

Then there were people like Jimin and Hoseok and Jin who chose sides,  who supported and judged but were truly clueless.

And lastly: Jeon Jungkook and Min Yoongi.  The two who couldn't bring themselves to care what happened to them.  One lived freely,  flowing through life like water and the other flowing along beside him waiting to drown.

You,  on the other hand were still a blank canvas about everything. You didn't know what to do and you were afraid to draw assumptions.  Not because of criticism but because you truly had no ideas.  So uncreative Y/N.

You watch the land drift away from you,  becoming smaller and smaller.  The small town turns from buildings into blocks of concrete into boxes into cubes of sugar and finally into dots.  It looked like an empty gray terminal from this far.

"Missing home already?" Jimin pops up beside you.

You shrug.  "I don't even know where home is anymore."

"I do, " Jimin replies.  The salty wind rushes through his hair doing the effort for him although his pace looks slightly puffy in the morning.  "Well,  home that is now,  I mean. That mansion didn't mean anything to me.  It's.... " He turns behind looking at the busy men as they work around grabbing,  fixing that,  turning this under Yoongi's barking orders.

"I see, " You nod.

Even if they got on his nerves or neglected his ideas.  Even if they laughed at him,  made jokes,  or roughed him up.  Even if they argued or fought or cried. They still counted.  More than ever.

Home was wherever they were.

"Alright,"

Yoongi steps up, hair flying heroically in the wind. If indeed all of you had travelled back in time, then he would have been the utter replica of Christopher Columbus, looking so confident in the sudden new approach of life.

"Let's discover what the hell is up with this planet."
