[No one's POV]

Namjoon pushes aside an oddly protruding branch as he makes his way through the forest by himself. He soaks in the beautiful richness of nature's sounds and smells and sights. And even if they were composed of unfamiliar screeches, thick smoky odors and distorted images he enjoyed this mirage like a coloring book, filled in with three crayons. Green, brown and odd shades of purple.

Purple. It seemed to tint this world in a strange way and he'd just begun to notice it. Even the sunsets were more purple thank pink. Yeontan's eyes had been a light violet. The shades of the leaves seemed to be purple-green from afar yet turned out to be a solid green when he approaches. He couldn't figure it out.

Did it have something to do with the sun? Where was this planet even located in the universe? It had to be in the solar system right? Or at least in the Milky Way Galaxy. He looked up through the shaded canopy at the sun. The sun was the same sun as the Earth's sun, right? He had some many questions. So many things were unanswered. He'd figured out what this place was, but he had no idea why it existed. And how.

At the moment, however, it seemed to be the most pressuring question. It itched him form within like a bug poking at his skin from underneath wanting to see the light. He wanted to see the light too.

He had no idea how close he was.

Walking in his bubble of quietness, Namjoon wasn't surprised that he was the first one to discover an animal. He didn't startle or run from it, but casually observed it from afar. He couldn't trust that anything here was particularly edible. But it was better than nothing. The resources had run out overnight. He could only guess it was one or two of the members of the maknae line if not Jin himself, although Jin was not that selfish. He would have to put a lock over the fridge now.

The animals snarls a little. From Namjoon's perspective, it looked rather like a deer which made it exceptional that it snarled. Everything about this particular deer looked quite normal except for its eyes. He spotted it at once when it turned its head to the other side, tense, as if trying to listen for its predator. It's pupils faced different directions. The left one looked slightly upwards and towards the right while the right one faced forward but slightly towards the left. He felt pity rise within him as he traced the animal for other disfigurements. He found none but he did find something a little more assuring.

A purple tinge on its snout.

The deer suddenly jerks a little forward. He catches his guard, expecting an attack. Ah shit, why didn't he follow Yoongi? But the deer doesn't seem to be nervous because of him. It's ready to run but because of something else. Was it already being chased? And if yes, by who? He swallows uncomfortably as his brain begins to conjure up all sorts of uniquely formed animals which was quite a difficult thing for him to do as he was quite practical when it came to nature. He didn't know wha-

"OH MY GOD, THERE YOU ARE YOU DELICIOUS PIECE OF MEAT!"

A wild figure jumps out from behind a tree, running and panting but face bursting with satisfaction. Namjoon nearly has a heart attack by the sudden busting of his bubble.

At first glance he thinks it's a large sort of hawk or eagle with an exceptionally long body. He stumbles backwards, rushed fear overwhelming him as the deer lets out a wild high pitched sound.

The direct opposite of it's predator's husky voice.

"Taehyung!" Namjoon hisses. Taehyung hesitates as he turns to acknowledge Namjoon but the deer does not wait. It takes off fleeing into the thick vegetation away from it's crazily indignant predator quite unlike the other more stealthy predators.
