The cold hard cobblestone floor meets the soles of his feet. Ground. Land. Once again.
He couldn't imagine life like this, stuck to these rocks forever. Even if gravity existed almost in a pure resemblance, it wasn't the same.
Nothing was the same.
He clenches his fists as he wills his thoughts away from that one question mark. He wanted to find it. He supposed it was far away and unless they travelled the entire world they would never have found it. It took them months to find themselves.
He knew it was wrong. He'd been caught but he'd grown to accept that because his curiousity had gone beyond him. This was wrong, and he should come out. He was going to tell them, he really was.
He started walking, accomodating himself again, pressing his lips together from troubling thoughts.
When the time came.
Everything would be clear.
