"Come on, guys," Taehyung holds up a deck of cards. "Space UNO."

"You forgot to bring a camera but UNO you remembered?" Namjoon targets him at once incredulously.

"Everybody say nooo," Yoongi groans from inside his sleeping chamber like he'd just been called in for family time. Taehyung reaches a hand into Yoongi's sleeping chamber, pulling him out effortlessly due to the weightlessness. "Come on. You can be my partner."

"We're playing in teams?" You say, frowning. "But UNO is an individual game."

"It's just so that we have someone else to blame when we lose," Jin explains, before cracking up on his own.

"If we lose," Yoongi warns Taehyung, following up on Jin's statement as he discouragingly taking his hand. "It's all on you."

"We can't play UNO," Hoseok whines upside down in the air. "It's not going to be fair. The twins are telepathic."

Once again, that realization earns both you and Jungkook disappointed looks. The general sighing and expressions of dismay like the both of you were the biggest spoilsports born goes round the group.

"Then let's put them on the same team."

"It'll be like one big brain," Jimin agrees, nodding.

"More like two small ones," Jin snorts. Jungkook turns to Jin, offended. "Haha hyung that's funny but I bet my brain I'd bigger than yours."

"Oh yeah? What's your IQ?"

"128. What's yours?"

"107," Jin replies breaking out into laughter at the embarassment he had gained for himself. As Jimin joins Jin due to his contagious laughter, Yoongi slides his way into the social circle.

"Let's make this quick," he mumbles. Everyone comes together, forming an oddly shaped circle in the corridor of the ship. You cram yourself into the circle next to Jungkook, as the others couple up on their own. Even if you supposed that from now on you'd always have to pair up with him the best thing about it was that the man was good everything. He was a golden player and seemed to excel at everything he tried. You hoped UNO was one of them.

Don't worry I won't let you down. If anything those concerns should be mine.

Hey, I'm a pretty decent player myself.

Then let's win this thing.

"Hold onto your cards tight," Hoseok warns as he hands them out, the anti-gravitational force making everyone grab the cards at once before they flip and reveal themselves.

"How are we going to do it, though?" Namjoon asks, watching as Hoseok tentatively places the deck in the empty space in the middle of the circle. "They'll all just float away."

"Ah I wish we could have gravity," Jimin whines. "Just for a little while, you know? It'd be so much easier to put on my clothes, brush my teeth, even going to the bathroom."

"He's right," Jungkook agrees at once, opening his selection of cards so you can see his entire deck. It consisted of a very colorful selection of cards, assuring you that it had been well shuffled. "Even though anti-gravity is fun, it makes me miss being rooted properly to the ground sometimes."

"Isn't it always like that?" Namjoon poses a thought. "You always want what you don't have. For people who work like this, this will be ordinary and gravity extraordinary and vice versa for us, gravity is ordinary but anti-gravity is extraordinary. You have to give up something for each. "

"Wait a second-" Jimin furrows his brows as he looks up at Hoseok, his teammate before truning to you as you were sitting right opposite him. "Aren't UNO partners supposed to sit opposite each other? And then the points are added up?"

"Yeah but we can't do that," Jin explains, pointing to you and Jungkook again. It was like a neverending accusation. "They'll know what cards the other has. That's why we're sitting like this, so everyone knows fairly."

"Why can't we just play normally?" you ask, irritably. "It's not like we're going to cheat. If I ignore him and he ignores me, it won't be an unfair game."

"Yeah right," Taehyung defends at once. "That's not gonna happen. You can't help but cheat."

He's right.

"I'll start then," Hoseok plucks a card out of Jimin's little hands as he holds the pile in his other hand before placing it on the card in the middle. They immediately bounce against each other, spinning in opposite directions. He hastily places them back together, the gap between both cards giving a different atmosphere to UNO. As the game continues, everyone grows more competitive. It goes quicker as everyone grasps a hold of it, Yoongi desperately trying to help Taehyung make the right decisions and place the right cards. If the game was meant to ease and loosen up the group from the constant fear and danger it only rebounded that energy. As the game continued the tension rose. Fingers gripped cards more tightly, cards were issued and reveal at a painfully slow pace and + 2s and + 4s hit like no meteorite could ever.

"Ah this is never-ending," Yoongi complains out loud as he picks from the pile yet again. He had to do it with such caution on top of it, to keep the lower cards from flying off into the ceiling. The game was so nerve-wracking you could see the knots in his face with every card he picked. Even the reshuffling off the deck as him and Taehyung worked together to piece together similiar cards caught the watchful eye of every competitor. "Wish we had something to drink."

"Water."

"Remember our drunken party?"

"Isn't this a ship as well?" Jungkook grins.

"That's right!" Yoongi exclaims in protest. "We didn't have our three-day celebration!"

"Is that even a real thing, hyung."

"It is."

Save the wild card. Let's put down the red four.

"I don't believe you," Jin scoffs. "No way would trained soldiers party like that on a ship especially on naval duty."

"You should come with me once, then," Yoongi suggests. He waits patiently for his turn and it seems like that's the end of it but then he adds, "you'll have to buy the boat then."

"Why would I buy a boat?" Jin demands, flustered by the sudden suggestion.

"'Cause you're rich and you'll be able to do maintain it," Yoongi replies simply. A sudden sparkle enters his eyes. "We'll go fishing."

"You think I have time for that?"

"No," Yoongi gives him a small smile. "But a superstar like you will make time for me, won't he?"

Knowing he's hit Jin's narcissistic spot, Jin beams at the praise. He liked the compliment even though he knew that even he tried he probably wouldn't have the time to meet up with Yoongi and go fishing. It sounded nice though.

"I may not be a superstar anymore though," he decides to laugh a little humbly.

He meant it in humour but that hit hard and you knew it. What if everyone forgot you? Jin's career relied on that. If he went back as a nobody, he'd have to start from the bottom all over again.

"Who's going to forget Kim Seokjin?" you drawl, kindly, putting down the red four.

"I couldn't," Taehyung agrees, smiling. "Even if someone wiped out all my memories right now...

"I'd still remember you guys."
